Celebrities who have 'sex addiction'?! Oh pleeeease!!! Sex is life affirming, fun and healthy, we'd all be at it all the time if we could get it!! So stop claiming it's a 'problem'!!

'Daniel J' you are a poor misguided fool who clearly cannot read properly. Is it coincidence that people who have free and easy access to sex with multiple partners whenever they want it, ie. celebrities, get caught out with someone elses wife/daughter and blame it on an 'addiction' to sex?
Sex Addicts must be pre-disposed to fame in that case then, you moron.
The fact is, if you're famous and get it offered to you all the time you're not going to say no. It is not because you're addicted to it!

there is such a thing as a sex addiction the same as any addiction.
I love sex but don t feel the need to or want to have it all the time your argument to the lady makes no sence at all the reason you don t see celebs with fat ugly people is because they will sleep with praticaly any one when they have the addiction but also pretty any one will sleep with them and they will go with the better looking ones.
Also your question is not as clever as you think it is do you like a beer does that make you an alcoholic or do you like watching tv are you addicted to tv are you addicted to yahoo answers.but these things are all adictive by certain people so what i am saying is you can enjoy something and not be addicted but some people get addicted it depends on your state of mind and what sort of person you are you realy need to get a bigger outlook on life and get out more you obviously have little or no knowlege about people or world

Well, on one hand we have the media, that make everything as big as possible to attract readers and viewers, on the other hand we have people full of prejudice who juge without knowing (they dunno what they're missing), and in a third hand (i'm actually an Indian divinity, don't mind it) we have actual sex addicts.
First, let the media say what they wanna say, and feel free not to get dumbed by their shouting headlines, celebrities actually ARE people like you and me, only the media HAVE to knoz everytime they are taking a leak... so if I get sick, let's say malaria, nobody will care but my family, if a celebrity gets sick, he or she will have had a near death experience. That's how you end up with sex-addicted selebrities.
Second, some people have a serious trauma about sex, and if they know about someone who's a bit liberated, they'll say this person is a sex freak, and by the way it's always good for the media to attract such people, to let them think that our planet/country is such a lost place...
Third, real sex addict seems to exist, and I personnaly beleive in it, since you can get addicted to every single thing, but addiction itself is a very precise subject, with its commonplaces and issues, and can't be embraced by some stupid headlines.
So i'd say that we are not all sex addicts, some people having troubles with the mere word, but any healthy and open minded people would consider sex as a normal part of life, for fun or for love...
Don't listen to what they say, just live your life and...fcuk them !

ha ha ha i remember them days, yeh they were fun....miss them a wee bit as well.
old bugger now so not as bothered.
celebs get a damn sight more hits on them than us mere mortals will ever know.
when you are young and it is offered on a plate with all the side trimmings it takes something to turn it down.
sad excuse for having no willpower, they do it cos they want to, show me a fit and healthy young person that does not think of sex on a constant basis, celebs are no different, just when they get caught fooling around it makes the papers.

No we would not all be at it, all the time if we can get it.
Some of us can get it whenever but choose not to.
We have other priorities
It can be a problem if someone is so obsessed by sex that they are willing to hurt themselves or other people to get it, regardless of the cost.

No we aren't all addicted to sex. Sexual addiction is when you can't stop yourself from doing it with ANYONE. You can't be faithful. You just sleep with anyone that offers it up. Basically, sex addicts suffer from low self-esteem. They use sex as an excuse.
If that describes you, then those are your issues to resolve. But it certainly doesn't decribe most people.
