Ok. Convince me whats so bad about eating meat. Tell me why people decide to go hardcore vegan and the majority of them mock people who eat meat. Give me realistic opinions. No stupid analogies that are off the subject, no twenty-two page blogs about why meat is bad or animals are tortured. I want realistic philosophies, honest (but not idiotic) opinions, and something besides generalizations and judgement. Go ahead. Convince me. What the hell is wrong with meat? Also, please DO NOT drag religion into this. I frankly don't give a damn about your (or any one else's) religious views on the subject.

My dad always use to let me play with his cell phone, when I was bored. But lateley he hides it from me, and refuses to let me see it.
But I know where he hides it now.
I check every morning.
And lateley, there are these messages saying, "I love you"/"I put the pictures, for you".
And my dad replies with messages like, "I can't talk now, but I love you!"
And I know it isn't my mother, cause she has no idea on how to use a phone.

Am I just jumping to conclusions, or am I right!

I don't really wanna tell my mother. Cause I really don't want my parenets to split. It would be so horriable. I don't know what to do!

Im trying to install it to my computer, but theres one part thats not working....

i have it installed, but when i try to open up the program, it wants me to select a file to open and i dont know what to do.

If you could get what you wanted done by manipulating the person rather than nagging or bribing or getting angry at them would you do it ?
or do you think it is morally wrong to manipulate people for whatever reason.?
Do we all not manipulate people to a certain extent within our lifetime.?
What if what you want them to do is for their own good ? does that make it more acceptable ?

Disagree with the idea of Global Warming?

Could it be the constant stream of brainwash that they subject themselves to?

Look up Greenhouse Gasses in wikipedia or anywhere for that matter and then tell me that the burning of fossil fuels etc. has no effect on the Earth..

Some of you have good points.. But most of you just regurgitate thoughtless nonsence..

The best arguments have been that the Earth is just going through natural cycles.. And that is fine.. it still doesn't change the fact that:

1)America would be better off if we were less dependant on a fossil fuel economy

2)Developed alternative fuels and or energies

3) Highly efficienct technologies which we could market abroad

Conservatives choose to ignore these points and say "I hate liberals" "Global Warming was created by the Liberal Media" etc etc..

Why can't you see the light? These new technologies are the wave of the future.. A clean, healthy future that will sustain American air, water and soil
