I just shaved off my beard, but not my mustache,
after 40 years!

My wife doesn't recognize me anymore
and she is in fits and in stitches for two days now!

So I'm greatly interested in the reactions you've got.

Okay, I'm a girl, but...My husband had a bread and 'tache for as long as I've known him-25 years. Recently, due to downsizing, he had to begin a job search and thought that shaving might be a good idea. He looked so much like his brother afterwards that I couldn't kiss him because it was just too werid. Even the kids started calling him, "Uncle Bruce".

I shaved off my beard and mustache one time, and my daughter, then about 2 or 3 started to cry when she saw me, so I grew them back as fast as I could.

I never get used to it. Every time I shave off my goatee or beard I feel like I look like a goon! It takes weeks for me to get used to it.
