i uninstalled a program which had been in my comp for like 2 years. stupid as i am i decided to delete all its registries using regedit. There i found many folders which i thought belonged to the softwares i had uninstalled long ago and so i started deleting them and when i closed regedit, i didn't recognise my comp. On right clicking i couldn't see many options. i couldn't open any folder or start any software. so i decided to restart my comp. it now just stops on the welcome screen and freezes. is there any way i can make my comp start without reinstalling windows? please help? also if i have to reintall it, how can i retrieve my data on D and E drive cuz i know that c would be deleted. please help?

My primary school (elementary school) principal returned from war service, where he experienced unimaginable horrors. (As did my grandfather).

When my primary school pincipal arrived at my school, he threw out all the accumulated rules and regulations. He declared that there are only two:

"Use your common sense!"

and

"Be kind and considerate to other people!"

As an elegant and simple encapsulation of morality for children, this worked very well as far as I can tell. Discipline was strict, but there were only two principles to learn. I still consider these my moral roots. Any comments?

If the water is a mixture of hot & cold - so long as the hot water has just been added, the powder will sink down. But if the water is only cold, the powder just sits on top - even if there is quite a lot of it - for some minutes before sinking in.

In the dream I was with some family and freinds and I discovered the key to unlock the pyramids. I went to the pyramids with my mum and put this special key inta a special hole in all the corners. The top came off of the pyramid and I went inside. Then when I came out i was in a really wierd state of mind, delirious. I stayed like this for many days until my mum and dad put me in a mental asylum. On one visit they took me out for the day, they decided I was sane again and they could take me home on a smal aeroplane. The aeroplane wouldn't take off because there was some sort of animal on top of it. Finally we got away from the animal and a cat scratched me. It drew blood. As soon as this happened the cat died. I knew something bad was going to happen and I started throwing up, just lots and lots of thick blood! (sorry for the details) As soon as this happened, everyone said I was mad again and sent me back to the asylum, where my cousin was also now being held.
