PROSPERITY is often erroneously measured in terms of financial worth, or of political and social success. Yet everyone should know that there can be no true prosperity without peace and prospect of life. Aptly, Jesus raises the question: “What benefit will it be to a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul?” (Matt. 16:26) The answer is obvious. Favor and life from God are vital ingredients of true prosperity.
Still, material prosperity cannot be relied upon as a sole indicator of God’s approval and blessing. For example, Jesus exposed the spiritually poor condition of some Christians in Laodicea when he told them: “You say: ‘I am rich and have acquired riches and do not need anything at all,’ but you do not know you are miserable and pitiable and poor and blind and naked.” (Revelation 3:17) Conversely, to the materially poor but spiritually healthy Christians in Smyrna, Jesus said: “I know your tribulation and poverty—but you are rich.” (Revelation 2:9) These Christians likely suffered financially at the hands of persecutors because of their faithfulness, yet they possessed riches far more valuable than silver or gold.—Proverbs 22:1; Hebrews 10:34.
God blesses the efforts of those who strive to do his will. (Psalm 1:2, 3) He provides them with the strength and the resources to cope with trials, to provide for their families, and to seek first his Kingdom. (Psalm 37:25; Matthew 6:31-33; Philippians 4:12, 13) Hence, rather than viewing material things as God’s main blessing, true Christians strive to be “rich in fine works.” By developing a close relationship with the Creator, Christians are “safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future.”—1 Timothy 6:17-19; Mark 12:42-44.
The Bible says that the the world of mankind that is not doing the will of God will be destroyed. “As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.” (Proverbs 2:22) “

I think you'll find that people get rich through sheer hard work and determination in their chosen career, at the individual level, I mean, and I guess you mean that too since you mention luxurious houses and cars
for example, doctors that are quite wealthy, they spent years and years training for that position...and are awarded financially for providing a service that other individuals cannot
why should they be denied their right to a better quality of life...that may include a nice car or a nice house, it's their money, and they earned it!
However, that does not mean to say that they're not charitable....they might give a decent percentage of their earnings to charity
what I mean is, being rich (depending on how you define rich also) doesnt equate with being a follower of a devil or anything else you deem to be evil....some people have worked hard to rightfully earn their money and should not be labelled as devil followers because of it in the sense that I think you're referring to
but people regularly donate money and time to various charities, rich or not, is that not a good thing to do?
Is it just poor people that start up charities? Is it only poor people that go around the world helping to raise the quality of lives of people in poorer areas?
Being rich is irrelevant to being a good person
there are equally greedy and "evil" people in this world, they are rich and poor alike

The devil cannot do anything good for anyone because he himself is a father of all lies and all those that heed to his word and callings are headed for a great pitfall. His methods and ways have deceived and corrupted this sinful world whereby anyone who thinks to have a car, an extravagant house, and all the other luxuries is all that. An eternal separation from goodness is what will follow for these people if they do not surrender their lives to Christ.
Mind you i'm not saying it is a sin to have all the above but if you centre your life on these things then that becomes your chief lord to serve and obey. There is more to life than wealth and luxuries.
"For what profits a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul" Matthew 16:26
Being rich is not at all important if you are not moved by the extreme physical and spiritual poverty souls have to endure in this lifetime. If riches makes you self-centred and separates you from your fellow brethren then what good is it to be rich? People need relationships with other people.
Instant wealth and success only lead to want.
All the things that you see with your eyes are temporal. People are being enticed by things that remain destructive to their souls. We are told by the word of God to set our eyes on spiritual things that are above (things not seen by natural eyes) and to store up our riches in heaven where no moth or destructive things can erode or destroy them. Storing up riches in heaven happens when we are still right here on earth.
We are to render a service to God as we allow Him to use us to reach out to other fellow humans. We must be ready spread His Good News that restores, empowers and build people lives.
We give to God who is a great rewarder of men, when we help the needy and poor. We sow in their lives in different measures and by so doing we prosper. We can sow financially, we can give of our time to make sure that we take care of the sick, the widows and orphans in our communities.
God says that silver and gold is His!
If you have been entrusted with earthly wealth then you should disperse of it in a way that will bring glory to God. See that the needs of others are met. Be a good steward of that which has been entrusted to you and you in turn will reap a good harvest.
God is a good rewarder of those who are trustworthy and faithful!!!

Being rich is not a question, you can do whatever you wanted to as long as you respect others to live same thing you wanted in your life, if you want to get rich , then work hard. The question is are there devils and are there really a Superior God, think about it, maybe you believe because it always the talk of the town. Follow your heart, your instincts, maybe you can find your real God, maybe its justyou who are making miracles by yourself.

Answer this: Where will those rich houses and cars be in 100 years? Also where will the owners of these things be? I will tell you, the houses will be old if even still worth anything, the cars will be scrap in the junkyard if even that, and the owners bodies will be in the ground, buried and decomposed. Now where will their soul be? Will it be in Heaven or hell? You see, satan does these things to get people to turn from God. It is better to be poor and humble and die with Jesus as your Savior than it is to die rich and proud and all alone and end up in the lake of fire where satan is going to be.

Who are these followers? If you mean Satanists (La Vey type thing), the fact they focus on Self glorification (the individual as a deity) means that obtaining wealth and property would all contribute to a sense of well being. Whatever floats your metaphysical boat.

Satan is a liar and the father of lies, wealth from Satan will be a disaster in the end.
Jesus said ...And everyone that hath forsaken houses, brethren,or sisters,or father,or mother,or wife,or children,or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold and shall inherit everlasting life.Matthew 19:29

Many people have sold their souls to Satan to get wordly success. Many singers especially have done this. And they get rich and successful.
Many people who are Satanists are successful - lawyers, doctors, etc.
Yes, Satan can make you rich and famous.
But, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" ~ Matthew 16:26
So, I think you need to define "good things" because rich is great! BUT, Satan hates his followers and his whole objective is to destroy the person's soul. IS IT WORTH IT?

If you want to spend eternity with father/creator than what goes on here is only a condition. The fallen one owns this place and feeds on the atrosities of humans. (It has plenty to feed on) To get back to father you must choose love/fellowship and desire to leave this place.
What if heaven and hell are exactly the same except for one difference? What ever you picture in your head heaven to be, imagine hell to be the same except for one difference. Everything you can do in heaven you can do in hell except for one difference. The difference is love or dominion. If you choose love you are in heaven, you are sharing love/joy/fellowship, absolute bliss in all you do.
If you choose dominion you are in hell, everyone will be dominion bent, acting without regard to anything but personal pleasure, personal gain, exercising power over others. Everyman for himself in all that is done. Everything else is the same.
Now which path do/will you choose? LOVE or DOMINION

P.S. Doesn't hell feel a lot like earth?
P.S. S. If you choose dominion click on exit, there is nothing here for you.
