He confessed to me that he like me for about 4 years, funny thing is I've liked him for about 4 years as well. On ash wednesday I went to church and prayed to god to help me forget about him if is not meant to be, but that night he called out of know where. Now we finally started talking and even made out on the first date. Also he has a girlfriend but hes constantly calling me. Whay should I do?

I have friends who work whose children of eleven have no adult supervision when they get home from school. I also work so can appreciate the difficulty. My son is weeks away from being eleven. If he is sick and I can't take the time off work, can I get in trouble for leaving him at home alone.

An aquaintence of mine has a son who I have known since he was a baby. Right now he's 13 years old, and he is taller than me (about 6 feet, 5 inches), and he is also obese. Besides high risk early arthritis in his knee and ankle joints due to his weight and his age, are there any other health effects that can affect this kid? His parents are not doing much about his wieght. Seriously! For his age, he qualifies to play high school football with high school seniors!

I used to know a woman from New Zealand when she lived in this country for a while. Unfortunately she moved back to New Zealand to train as a parachutist and I've never seen her since. One of my friends wants to have a baby she has started messing with condoms(not sure how) and not taking bc anymore. I am worried about her that she will get what she wants but at 19 yrs old i think this is a bad idea!for her to have a baby plus she cant even clean her room!or drive!Her bf is not much more responsible than her and is a party guy.Should i warn him indirectly?

Are there any standard rules for what goes with what or is it all subjective in relation to whether the person can "pull it off," what looks good on them, and how daring they're willing to get?

I was recently terminated from a job. When I am honest about it, I get no interview and no contact back. When I lie about it, i get an interview and an offer although I haven't taken anything yet. I know down the road it could lead to termination if they were to find out... but isn't it illegal for the previous employer to disclose that information?

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a copy of the Neverending Story that was printed using red and green text? The ones on Amazon and other book retailers are very newly published so use just boring italics to distinguish between scenes in the real world and Fantastica. I would love to give a copy to my brother for his wedding present, he used to read it to me when i was little!!!

I have an uncomfortable problem with a female co-worker that is growing worse by the day. She and I have been friends for several months, and have shared some of the frustrations of both being in long-distance relationships with our fiances. Her boyfriend is in NY, my girlfriend is in St. Louis (our company is located outside Chicago). Last week, while in a storage cubicle she got very close to me and propositioned me in a very forward manner (to avoid a TOS violation with Yahoo, you'll have to use your imagination rather than me describe it). After the shock wore off, I laughed, quickly leaving the suddenly very small cubicle. After that, I avoided her but tried to talk to her in a business meeting the next day only to be greeted with a frosty attitude. Now it seems she is trashing me to my boss. She is a very attractive young woman. I can't imagine she is rejected often by men. What do I do?
