It seems obvious that when lightening strikes thousands of volts of electricity are discharged instantly. This can not be harnessed because of its high intensity. Surely there must be a build-up of static before it reaches this point.

I am risking showing my ignorance but could not the clouds be regarded as a kind of battery storing electricity that could be tapped into. The answer to our energy problems could be drifting around above our heads.

I have put my head above the parapet and I now expect to have it blown off.

my 1st wife left me for someone with money , my kids hate him !!
big time !! i never left my kids they now can see what i did for them i spent 10 years paying 1/3, of my gross pay to my x wife while she drove a brand new bmw and lived in abeach house and still does las time i saw her was at my sons girl friends 21st
she cried to my new wife of 10 years and said how lucky she was
becase she is happy and said that how money dosent make ypu happy my new wife should hAVE punched her out i would habve liked to but its not me but im pissed off for my nuw wife of 10 years for not standing up for me should i not be pissed off !!
it goes on ,,,,, my son and my daughter want to spend lots of time
with me and my new wife of 10 years is jelous of them , but it goes on ,, my mum just died and my new wife says get over it
cause her dad is dying too and i shoud get over it thats life!!
i say wait till his dead then speak ;;;;; i think its time i leave her

personaly I think it will be interesting due to the fact that Miami might not make a return if Wade is down. Dallas is my pick for the west (if they can make it past the Spurs and Suns again) as for the east I think the best chances are either Detroit or Cleveland.

it could be because i have no oil at all. i jus got the car yesterday and it's my first car. my boyfriend is going to do the oil change for me tody but i just want to know will that be it. the guy i got it from say that some gasket was loose or something he tightened it but if i have problems to bring it back. i just don't want my engine to lock up on me on my way to get my oil change or whatever i don't know. PLEASE HELP!! my boyfriend works on cars but he's no genius, otherwise i wouldn't be stressing.

I have read so many pro's and con's on this. I believe all of the nutritional info and dietary info, and all of the developement info, (ie- babies satisfaction vs allergic issues vs health hazzards vs immature gastrointestinal issues vs pediatric advice) So I'm thinking its all about personal preference too, and weighing the odds. So being on a liquid diet>> formula for a 2 month old, and having tremendous " MUSHY POOP FROM HELL" I'm not saying diarrhea, its healthy formula poop...lol!. But the basic qustion I have how soon will this goo "firm-up"????????? It makes me consider adding a solid (dish of- actually teaspoon of- runny rice cereal) to her diet.

When I hear Al ('I invented the Internet') Gore or any of his sycophants howling about how Man is causing 'Global Warming' that will destroy civilization, why am I reminded of a 'Bible Thumper' Evangelist preaching belief in a lot of other things that must be accepted on *Faith* rather than proven by the *Scientific* *Method*?

The thing that troubles me most is that 'real' scientists are forced to go along with the 'PC' point of view that Man *is* responsible for 'Global Warming'. An Oregan State Climatologist was outright fired for not supporting some legislation intended to minimize 'Global Warming' because he didn't see sufficient scientific evidence to demonstrate a causal relationship. And researchers across the Country and around the World are finding it more and more difficult to get funding for research that doesn't support this point of view.

Do we really want to see the 'National Enquirer' become this countries premier scientific publication?
