Yep, just like I said. The Christians and Muslims are just fanboys.

But they're retconned so much in the original, they're more AU than anything. And now we've got people writing fanfics of fanfics, like the Book or Mormon.... Where will it end?!

Well I see a difference:

1) The New Testament is a fulfillment of the Old Testament- the Hebrew Bible if you will.

2) Islam is the confusion thereof, a form of Godliness without any of the understanding of the Hebrew Bible. Also, without any of the crucial elements thereof.

You can read the Old Testament scriptures, this is all good and fine. But how can you ignore the Old Testament scriptures pertaining to Gods coming of his New Covenant with man?
If you ignore even one part of the Old Testament, then you may as well throw it all in the garbage. The Old Testament scriptures clearly point to the personage of Christ Jesus as the coming Messiah. They describe His birth, His death and when all these things are added up and put together, there is only one person in history that fulfills ALL the requirements.
Only Christ Jesus was betrayed for 30 silver coins, only Christ Jesus was crucified, only Christ Jesus was born of a virgin...etc etc etc...
Stop simply reading the Old Testament and learn to study it.
Accept as truth, everything God says, to do otherwise is to call God a liar. I challenge you to look up all the Old Testament scriptures that refer to the coming Messiah and look at those verses with an opinion mind and prayerfully study them.
God Bless You....Peace.

The Hebrew Bible is incomplete. If you knew the Hebrew Bible you would know that Jesus was who He said He was. He fulfilled and made complete the prophecies of the Hebrew Bible.
