I feel like that all my family cares about is what kind of a job my husband has and if he's treating me right. My family won't call my husband about any important family events coming up and seems to not like him much. I know my mother is still mad that I took over the wedding planning and my father is mad that I almost took the beer away from the wedding. My father (I can't believe this) asked me ON MY WEDDING DAY why I was marrying my husband. He hoped it wasn't to get away from them (parents). Question Details: Why dont all girls who are relgious turn pagan as most girl friendly relgion? ie no telling them dress repressive codes or that their are dirty or sinful or whores for being pretty or sexaul. High priestess roles. female god figures like mother earth. No history of relgious war, homophobia, stoning or buring people alive. the magic works or should I say basic herbal medicine and pyschology. You are basically a chilled out hippy, No terrorisim, no screaming about fornication. its fine to be happy and have fun as long as not hurting others etc. and nice to nature. So why be chrisitn or muslim given their track record of abuse and mistreatment of girls or other relgions. As for satan worship. they have no concept of satan so magic does not come from evil gods of claptrap like that.

I just read a brief bio about his wife Correta Scott King and I am ashamed of my ignorance because I never knew she was such a stanch supporter of LGBT rights and marraige equality. They fired the last president of Harvard(because he suggested their are some fundamental differences between men and woman)...yet here in this study, they DON'T seem to report where men excel, just where woman excel...hmmmmm.

We don't WANT to hear that men statistically score better in 3- dimensional spacial reasoning, or math, or use intuition to find a place, or that their brains are wired into two separate entities(enabling the seperation of logic versus emotion) THOSE studies don't make woman feel warm and fuzzy, because we need studies which validate...ourselves?!

Look, it's 2007 for whatever that's worth(NOTHING!) Men and woman for thousands of years LOOK different, THINK different, and ACT different. Once we embrace that we are NOT the same entity's designed by nature, we can move away from all the PC stuff.

How do you know if he is the one?
I am very close friends with this guy and I get this feeling that he might be the one for me. I'm not looking for a relationship with him nor do I want to date him. I just want us to be the best of friends. But then I made a little mistake and a I went a bit too far when I kept calling and asking him if he wants to get together. Perhaps I pressured him a bit too much about us wanting to be together. I know it's my fault but I just want to let him know that I want him as a big brother and not a boyfriend. Still can our relationship go beyond friendship?
