both my parents smoke and i have asthma...i wanted to know two things:

1) why would it be that when i ask my mom, "why dont u just soke outside?", she always says she doesnt have to answer and treats my question as a threat?

2) why is it that they smoke in the house if they know how bad it is for them and their children?

i know my parents love me to death...but i dont understand...

help!

i did. so he lied to me by telling me that all my friends told him i was mad at him but they didnt even talk to him. so we kinda got in a fight and he wrote me a note yesterday saying that he lied and that i could either fix it or f*** it. i wrote him one back sayin f*** it. today he wrote me another note saying that he's really sorry and he messed up and he needs me but all my friends keep saying to not go back out w/ him cuz its not the 1st time he lied to me. i dont know what i should do. i want to go back out with him but im not sure that i should. This new book by Kevin Trudeau. Has anyone actually ordered it? Is there any chance of this being legitimate?

I've always felt there must be an answer to this weight epidemic and it's not all about food. I've exercised and dieted constantantly for years, and yet I can't seem to loose the fat. Even when I'm not directly dieting, I eat healthy, natural portions, and still, I'm a size 14-16. It's so frustrating.

I asked yesterday, if anyone else felt that our government is betraying us, and got 18 responses. Everyone agreed that this government is selling us out. We can't continue this idea that freedom means not having the government tell us what to do. We have to regain the understanding that freedom is when WE TELL THE GOVERNMENT WHAT TO DO! I propose that everyone forget this lib/con garbage and vote for the challenger, in the next elections, NO MATTER WHAT. If we do this, for the next few election cycles, we might be able to throw the entrenched powers out and retake our government. THEY WORK FOR US! WE ARE NOT THEIR SUBJECTS! THEY ARE OUR CIVIL SERVANTS!

Hey there are these 3 or 4 guys in my finance class who know a lot about the stock market and how it works. They are at the same level as I am but some how they have an aptitude for this stuff. I love finance and I want to know these things to. how do you think thye know so much without taking extra classes. They grasp things faster, they have questions about how the thing taught in class could work in the market. They are college kids...they don't read books for pleasure...do they? I read teh news every now and then but still how do they have this knowledge? Am I just slow or something? I have done really well in other similar courses but those were easier than this one. But its getting to me how these ppl know more and contribute more than I can think. Any advice on how to get ahead of the curve?

I'm looking at mossberg combos, 12 gauge w/ a 24" rifled and a 28" smoothbore barrel. Both the 500 and 835 come in these combos, the latter being about another $80 or so where I was looking. My question is what are the benefits of the 835 over the 500 and would it be worth the difference? As far as what it will be used for, I'm trying to get one gun that will handle most things, not necessarily the best at anything but can do everything if need be or whatever if that makes sense, will probably end up shooting more skeet than anything else. I know the 835 (like the 535) will take a 3.5" shell and is also a litle heavier because of that, anything else major to take into account? Thanks
