Self confidence, and to do whatever you do with deliberate and certain and intent.
I find that clumsy... is usually a potential action that wasn't thought over well enough before executed or stopped in the middle and backtracked due to a lack of confidence.
We give off signals to our limbs from our nerve endings that basically draw our brain a quick little map (so to speak) that actually communicates what will happen before it actually does.
Taking the time to think about things a little better and not reacting as fast can sometimes help?
I know because I stuttered as a child and it is different as far as condition goes, but similar as far as cause and effect goes in the brain. Being accident prone is just like a physical rather than an verbal stutter.
Confidence within the self works because you don't take that time to second guess your brain and hesitate and drop something or slip and fall. Understand?
Ever go to do something and stop and change your mind in the middle of it and get scattered, so much so that you trip or stumble or stutter?
Ease up on yourself, learn to trust yourself and take the time to think things out before actually beginning the process of carrying out the action.
People that are clumsy and people who stutter are usually hyper minded... and the brain's reaction time is incalcuable to the average mind. It goes too fast for fast... Take it easy and

Often clumsiness is a symptom of some kind of disorder and that has to be treated by suitable therapy. Otherwise, I think it's largely a matter of trying to relax and slow down. It's possible, for example, to be clumsy out of embarrassment. Take a few deep breaths. Does it matter so much? Just take it easy and slow down. Try to make your movements slower and more deliberate, as though you were handling china in a store. There are no easy answers and some of us have to battle with a certain degree of clumsiness all our lives. But while you move slowly, you give yourself time to concentrate and your movements will be less clumsy.

It depends how old you are. If you're in your teens then there is no getting around it. You have to grow into your rapidly stretching body. If you're older, do something that involves careful, disciplined movement like a martial art or dance. It will force your brain to think more about where your body is and what it's doing. The more you use it the better you will get.

You may not like the answer, but it's the only way i know how to work.
Icreasing coordination and muscle control is difficult in your teens and early adult life, but you can increase it to a degree by taking u pan activity whic involves increased control.
This doesnt work with all sports, as most involve hand-eye coordination with a ball, or barging into people.
Generally the best things are martial arts.. or the best thing is dancing.
essentially they teach you the same thing, rhythm, balance, how to hold your frame, bit more grace, coordination and control.
but its got to be regular and tought enought to count as exercise, as the tightening of your muscle tissue will assist your control and the muscle memory will retain more information.
hope thats helpfull
