I have had my laptop stolen and need to buy a new MacBook. Should I wait for the new release of Leopard? Is it true that if you buy a new book within a month of release you get a free upgrade? Apple say 'spring' is the release date - when is 'spring'? Does anyone know? The problem is that i really need a laptop back ASAP.

My seven year old boy has had like some type of fungi on his right thumb finger for like three or four months now. I have taken him to different doctors, his regular and then an allergy specialist where he goes already.Both have tried creams and antibiotics but they seem to not have worked.For the first few days the finger will get better but it will come back, my son says that it hurts whenver I put the "hydroxide cleaning liquid" on it and when he washes his hands.It is peeling right now, which is what it does often.At one point it got real yucky and had greenish stuff around it, and sorry that it sounds nasty but it is really concerning me because it does not get any better not matter what the doctor's give him.I've had to wrap it up with gauze and keep it filled with creams that have been sent to him, but the finger again is not completely better.Whta do you think it could be? I am trying to get him referred to a specialist though. Please advise.

...the telemarketing corporation that I was an independant contractor for does not verify these types of things. I am trying to begin my new accounting career, but "Jeremy," the man at the temp service says to me "We will DEFINITELY have to have a reference from this company." I had already told Jeremy beforehand that the company does not do that. What should I do. Is this just a rejection in diguise, being that he is asking me to do the impossible? Or should I show him my tax forms from the company and a copy of the telemarketing corporations' policy on this matter, or should I just have him call a made up company (so that he will think he is calling them)?

three guys rent a hotel room together each pitching in 10 bucks. The owner realizing he overcharged them,that the room was really only 25, takes 5 dollars out of the 30 they gave him. He put two dollars in his pocket and gave each guy one dollar each back. so that means each guy really only gave 9 dollars a piece which equals 27 dollars and the owner kept two..which brings the total to 29 dollars. What happened to the last dollar?? Please help if you can..im going nuts over this one!!

My 1998 Prelude uses oil. it always has. At first it was just a quart or so in-between oil changes. Now everytime I fill up gas, I have to add a quart. Is there any product that actually works and helps slow oil consumption? I really dont want to do a ring-job at 140K

PS I have already switched from 5W30 to 10W30.
Aslo here lately, I have started to smell a little oil odor (like a drip on the exhaust type of thing after oil changes) If it is a leak aswell any sugestions on where to look?

we have a large family and i get alot of nasty comments about the number of children i have. my husband makes a very good living , i am a stay at home mom and i enjoy it. my kids are being told our family is to big and that we are bad parents because we chose to have the number of kids we do. my husband and i have nasty things said to us by both sets of our parents. how do i explain to my kids that what we have is very special to us and it does not matter what everyone else around them is saying?

How does it lessen pollution and help the environment if _I_ live a "carbon free life" while rich politicians buy my "carbon offset credits" and keep on driving Hummers, flying in their private 747's, riding around in stretch limos, using megawatt hours of electricity, etc.
