My son's school is having dress up week and they are asking kids to pick a literary character. Any ideas?

He could dress up as the Cat in Hat, James of "James & the Giant Peach," Peter Pan, the Little Engine the Could, or choose a favorite animal from a favorite book (like Wilbur from "Charlotte's Web"). Hope these ideas help.

I like Tom Sawyer too. Sherlock Holmes could be fun. I'm sure there will be many, many Harry Potters.

I don't know how old your son is but Harry from Harry and his bucket full of Dinosaurs might be cute if he's little.

You can chose one of the nobel laurets for literature.

Tom Sawyer would be a good one. Overalls, rumpled hair...easy to do with little boys!
