I used to live in canada and we would go to a restaurant that specialised in cooked breakfasts, it was called country boy.... Home fries are the mutts, but I dont have a clue how to make them. Any Canadians out there that can give me the recipe?

My youngest child has started school this year & I have always wanted to eventually become a midwife but I don't know where to start searching as far as schooling goes. I am a single mum with 3 kids so wish to do the course by correspondence. I have a Year 11 pass (except English). So I need to start from the beginning as far as nursing goes & work my way up to midwifery.

Okay I know lower cals, and excercise. but I need motivation!!! I need to lose a good amount of weight to start!! Is there any home remedies, pills, machines? that anybody has tried or knows works?
I'm going to join Curves on Thursday and tomorrow I will be receiving my "Hip Hop Abs" By: Shaun T Workout DVD's. BUt I want to lose AT LEAST 20 lbs in less than 2 months if thats possible. Heres the low down on me:
I was 118lbs. Now
I am 211lbs That is
a difference of 93 lbs.

I gained 93 lbs in less than 3 years!!!

How can I lose the weight fast?

I want to be back down to 118 if I lose
7.75 lbs every month for 12 months therefore
at 3 months I will weigh 187.75
at 6 months I will weigh 164.50
at 9 months I will weigh 141.25
at 12 months I will be 118!!!! =) Goal weight

But in 3 months to weigh 187!! Is still a lot and I won't be motivated so I want to JUMP START WITH A HUGE LOSS. You know? Please help me!!!!! =)

We all have something that really changed our life. For me it was a book I recently read called "Still life with Woodpecker" by Tom Robbins. My mind is like a sponge waiting for new inspiration. What inspired you? What made you change your view of life/religion/time/space? It can be anything? A conversation, a poem, a book, a movie...I would rather spend my time acquiring life changing knowledge than read a magazine or watch a soap opera. So I guess I'm just really asking for some things to add to my to do list for 2007? The "Open my mind" list if you can call it that. Anything deep/moving will be appreciated. Even a one liner that made you think about something you had never thought about? Thanx guys.

In the Bible, Jesus professes to be both the Son of Man and Son of God. In order to be the Son of Man, he would have to fit in, in every way, shape and form. That includes getting married, having children, etc etc. Otherwise no one would have given him the time of day since they would consider him a madman or they'd stone him to death for blasphemy (claiming to be God).

However many people read the Bible as saying that even at his age, he was still single because there is no place for a woman with God. Why do people find it acceptable to ignore entire chunks of ancient cultures and essentially rewrite history in favor of what their beliefs say is correct instead?

here it is i liked this guy and i found out he was interested to so i asked him out and he said no twice he would try to get my attention but i was shy and when i would come around it was too late. i broke the ice once with him and he started saying hi to me. but then i would start to get shy around him and now we are back to square one. i know he is bothered by the fact that i dont say anything to him. i want to be blunt and say something like i no u dont like me and its ok but i dont want to freak him out or should i just forget about that and say hi oh im so confused what 2 do.
