My girlfriend leaves a note on my door saying I need space to think about our relationship, she feels emotionally unsafe.please dont call me.A heated disagreement lead me to say its over not really meaning it, I appoligized for saying its over and thought everything would be ok.2nd time this has happened in a year,no contact in 8 days.we are both very stubborn.I email the 9th day(my email) I'm not trying to disrespect your decision,I am giving you your time and decided on going to therapy, before I waste time, or go any further are you willing to communicate through email.(her reply)Hey, how are you doing? So you said your going for therapy, where at and how is it going?I hope that it helps you understand some things.I think everyone could use it now and again...I Know I got my issues also..Anyway, yes I feel emailing is probably the best way for now....Hope you have a great day..Love Janet.(my reply)would you be willing to go to a therapy session with me. 2days now no reply.

It sounds like she is distancing herself. I'd say no, but you never know. If you're in therapy because of issues that came up in the relationship, than it may not be a bad idea to continue so that you know how to avoid these things in the future.

i don't think you should have sent that last email cause was looking promising up to then give it a little while and email back talking about small things. just get back on talking terms first then when you are communicating better can bring in bigger stuff. plus when you get angry the best thing to do is bit your lip and count to ten or walk out of the room and just say you'll be back when you calm down. this will prevent heated arguments that will lead to you saying it's over or any sort of hurtful things.

Get out and stay out. She was trying to let you down easy. If you continue to initiate contact you are not going to accomplish anything other than looking desperate.
Do yourself a favor and forget about her, she was trying to end it in a very subtle way and you just aren't getting it...

Then just go get your therapy alone. Find someone else.
