I used to live in canada and we would go to a restaurant that specialised in cooked breakfasts, it was called country boy.... Home fries are the mutts, but I dont have a clue how to make them. Any Canadians out there that can give me the recipe?

Boil the potatoes first, the cut them in slices or like fries, then cook them in a frying pan with butter and diced onions, a bit of salt and pepper voila.
The best home fries come from Montreal, NDG, sherbrook st.
I forget the name of the restaurant.
