Ford escort 1.8lx?
i read alot a about cars and hopefully will be getting on a machanic course soon and it seems alot of people when modding/tuning there cars seem to swap certen PERFORMANCE parts of there cars with higher model parts eg fiesta 1.3 with fiesta rs turbo parts so im just wundering if my 1992 escort 1.8 lx would benerfit from some escort cosworth parts if so which ones and why would be very greatful for any feedback #

I have a HP Pavilion notebook. For some odd reason the desktop symbols come up for about 10 seconds on booting, then disappear. Windows functions normally, I just can't call up any of the icons to see them. i.e. I'm typing this OK right now. What should I do?

I never knew that so many people considered nudity to be a perverse activity until I reviewed some of the answers in these forums. That's weird. I do lots of stuff naked, simply because it's more convenient. I clean my bathtub naked because I don't want to get my clothes wet and dirty. I exercise naked because I don't want to get my clothes sweaty. I walk around the house naked in the summer when it's hot. Etcetera. What's perverse about nudity? I actually'd have a tendency to consider those who'd yell out, "Pervert!" to a nudist to be very sick-minded. But not the nudists themselves. Someone enlighten me.

I have 2 questions from my homework I just can't figure out. can someone help?

1-What is the x intercept of the line -10x - y = 16

2-find the x-intercept and the y-intercept of the line x - 4y = 12
x-intercept = ?, ?
y-intercept = ?, ?

and I have a question that I answered but not sure if its right. could someone check it?
The graph is plotted for the equation 2y + x = 1. What is the slope of the line? this is a multipule choice question with these choices:
m= 1, m= -1/2, m= 2, m= -2
I had originally selected -1/2 but then changed it to 2. I am confused about this one.

If someone could help I'd appreciate it. :)
