I don't think that there is anything wrong with being a nudist, as long as you don't 'impose' your nudity on others. In the privacy of your own home or yard, all is good.
I think that a lot of people who are disgusted with nudity have deeply embedded self-image issues. The human body should be celebrated for its beauty.

Some people think that nudists do what they do for socially unacceptable reasons. They think nudists behave the way they do because they are either exhibitionists (get off on other people seeing them naked) of voyeurs (get off on seeing other people naked when they are not supposed to). I think for the majority of nudists this is not true. I am a naked-around-the-house person for the same reasons you stated but I don't consider myself nudist. I would never feel comfortable naked among a group of other people (even weirded out at the Y and the ladies I've been there with were over 50 and okay with the group shower!) I agree with you on your comment on the "Sick-minded" ones.

I don't think any of the things you do naked are perverted. It's only perverted when you go naked in front of other people for the shock value.
We live in a society where it is considered inappropriate to be nude in front of others unless you are making love or at the doctor's. If we didn't have this taboo, then no one would think nudity was a perversion.

As a nudist male i does not parade around that way with a phallic being in that state am lots extra delicate to permit areas be areas and be organic with out being in a state of exhilaration it may well be very disrespectful to be excited with a set of females at nudist social gatherings events. not say it phallic action or hardness does not take place it does yet which would be oftentimes lined temporally till the organic state of place returns to me.

I don't think people care so much about what you do in your own home. It's when people take their clothes of in public when people start having a problem. People don't want their children exposed to certain things. And frankly, I don't want to see naked people running around town either. But whie you're at home, you go right ahead and take those clothes off!

Because most people have been indoctrinated to feel they should be ashamed of their naked bodies.
Remember when "GOD" supposedly threw Adam out of paradise?
They were naked and supposedly innocent until they opposed His/Her thinking with their own . . (free will, remember?)
From then on, they were forced to wear fur or fig leaves or whatever to cover the source of their on coming punishment for their "sin."
I don't know, sometimes I wonder if evolution has given us anything worthy from having started of as fish . . I mean, do we deserve to claim the intelligence of a fish, going from the way we still "think?"
Who'd a thunk(ed) we'd be Still so primitive, hey?

These people view the world as a reflection of themselves.
THEY ARE PERVERTS
so, they naturally assume everyone else must be one also.
...makes sense.

Really it's religion. People are uncomfortable with nakedness because people are raised to think it's bad.
