Why have we lost focus of the goal of training Iraqi forces and taking dependence off of American and International troops. If we truely want to leave Iraq, that is what we have to do. Don't you agree?

okay..so obviously i have depression. i'm taking anti-depressants and i USED TO cut myself. I DONT DO IT ANYMORE. there are scars on my wrists and arms and i am covering them with makeup now to hide my past. I am labeled "emo" or "goth" at school and i dont really care but now that i dont cut anymore i'm tryin to get rid of the emo label. *emo is considered a kid that is obsessed with darkness, writes about death and pain, and wears their hair a certain way and in some cases they cut themselves* the only reason people label me emo is because i cut myself, used to. anyway. how can i convince people that i'm not emo anymore? * and i'm in therapy now and i'm doing very well* oh and i'd appreciate it if you guyz dont lecture me about not cutting myself anymore cuz i dont do it anymore. i've been clean for about 2months now. i'm done. thanks.

Here is the problem:

If a player rolls two dice and gets a sum of 2 or 12, she wins $20. If the person gets a 7, she wins $5. The cost to play the game is $3. Find the expectation of the game.

The answer the book gives is -$1.06.

Thanks to a helpful person, I found out how to work the problem. What I need to understand now is:

Can anyone explain why the probabilities of rolling 2, 12, 7 are1/36, 1/36, and 1/6 respectively? Why 1/36? Why 1/6?

What would you do? If you wanted to open up a company in China for example and the authorities there were strict and it would take a lot of time. But a person from the Chinese government explained that it was normal for them to give some gifts (material or financial)and they do not take it as bribing.

My camera doesnt have a usb port to plug into the computer so I have to finalize my discs before I am able to do anything with them. however, the only discs i have are dvd-r so i cant edit them. is there a way to copy the files off of the disc so i can make copies for my family or delete some worthless clips?

My husband and I had unprotected sex 2 days ago while I was in the middle of my cycle and think I had already ovulated (we are new to using the diaphram and forgot to put it in). I took plan b 24 hours later, but didn't take the second pill until 17 hours after the first. How effective is plan b if I missed the second pill by 5 hours? Also, if I already ovulated, and the egg was fertilized, can plan b still work? I thought it worked through preventing the release of the egg, but what if the egg was already released? How high is the risk of pregnancy if I already have a fertilized egg in my system, but used plan b within 24 hours of unprotected sex? I know it's supposed to shed the uterine lining so the ovum has nothing to attach to, but is this realiable?

Anyone out there been on both prednisone and medrol? I'm curious to see which one you felt was better for you. I'm on day 4 of taking Prednisone, but wondering if Medrol may be better for me. I'm already swelling from the steroids. Just looking for the lesser of the two evils.

If you haven't been on both, but have been on one of the two, let me know your experience of that as well. THANKS!
