Why have we lost focus of the goal of training Iraqi forces and taking dependence off of American and International troops. If we truely want to leave Iraq, that is what we have to do. Don't you agree?

We are trying to train Iraq's military. It has been problematic in that many have turned out to be traitors & have killed their fellow service people. It is getting better, the troops are being trained & are beginning to help in the fighting. It must be very hard for an Iraqi to shoot a fellow Iraqi, as it would be for our troops to kill Americans or the British to kill their own people. That is why the training is going slowly. But we are getting there.

Are you an insider as to the daily workings and planning of the military in Iraq? How do you know what is or is not going on. If you think you will get any truth out of the media, think again. training is getting quite a bit of attention. You are just not hearing about it, just as you never hear about any of the good or successes we are having over there.

I disagree. The Iraqi police and military forces are heavily infiltrated by Shiite Islamic fundamentalists who are allied to Iran.
Why bother training those in opposition? Illogical.
