It depends on th estatus of your husband, and in what form you applied for his residency, if he has any at all. Depending on how you filed and what you filed, you can refuse to have his status adjusted but then again, like I said, depending how he got his status, he might not need you at all to become a US Citizen. Call your local INS office with all the info and see what they say???

If she reports him for bigamy,your marriage could be deemed null and void anyway.There is a possibility he married for the green card but in some cases when men come here and leave their wives and 10 kids behind,the wife cheats on them and they just fall in love with someone else in the USA.Find out if he is legally married in his country before anything.

The wife could stop her husband from becoming a resident but once he is a resident he is on his own. Any legal procedures he chooses to follow from then on are his and his alone. So, the answer is no.

Do you mean he is still married to someone else? Because if so, he isn't really married to you.

yes if you dont sign the paper at inmigration or if you dont stay married for more than two years.
