I am 32 year old working mother with a stressful full time job, beautiful 4 year old and a husband.

I enjoy my job and love my family, but I always feel so busy and stressed on an evening I generally drink over a bottle of wine a night.

Over the past 4 years the amount I drink has steadily increased and I wonder if I am an alcoholic?

I generally have a glass of wine in my hand half an hour after I arrive in from work at 7pm - my husband works quite late several nights a week and so I oftern drink alone.

Sometimes I can have a bottle and not have a hangover in the morning and other times I have a hang over from hell - and I think people are starting to notice. It does not effect my performance at work but it does make me tired

We think of ourselves as humans as maybe having the most intelligence on this Earth than any other animal... but is it really intelligence and our intelligence is just directed to building things, creating services and having social intelligence, and maybe a wild animal lives in the wild but they really have organized governments of their own but our intelligence can't pick that up because they have a different type of intelligence...If our intelligence is really the superior intelligence in the world, then is a completely healthy person with an average to high IQ the maximum intelligence goes to? Or is there a much higher form of intelligence that exists that we cant even understand... I'd like to just know some opinions..

Do either of these affect the 'seratonin' in my body? Is that what I need to get me out of this slight case of 'blues'? How long does it take to work if thats what I'm taking care of. Could someone explain 'seratonin' like I'm a child so that I can understand it ?

My boyfriend has been stressed out with his job lately. He asked me to give him some space to sort his situation out. He explained to me that he does not feel well at his job right now and he needs to look for a new one but he needs to focus. The thing is I have become needy of him, telling him that I don't feel special and we are loosing each other. We should meet 2 weeks later. Yesterday evening I sent him a message again telling him about our relationship, he said he honestly does not have the energy to deal with this right now and now he is upset. What should I do? Should I text him and tell him I am sorry or should I leave him alone? Why is he silent now?

Two of my dogs love them, but one HATES them. She cries and whines the whole time and then sulks and won't come near me for the rest of the evening afterwards. She's such a drama queen! My other dogs, all I have to do is open the bathroom door and call to them and they run in and jump into the tub. How about your dogs, love'em or hate'em?

I have only ever flown short haul 4 hours max, this was difficult as I get really claustrophobic and impatient to get there after 3 hours.

both beardies bought at the same time but in seperate vivs.the 3 month old will eat and eat!!! he is really greedy. the 2 month old only eats about 12 per day. both have grown loads since we had them. very friendly.full of character

Pharmacist told me to take it at night, since it has the potential to knock you out. I only started taking it two nights ago, but I haven't slept much at all. I don't know if it's the drug, or if it's my anxiety about taking the drug (have had bad experiences in the past with psych meds).

Anyone on imipramine? When do you take it? What side effects did you experience initially?
