Is coughing up bloody mucus bad?

i was smoking a bong at 11:40 and i haven't stopped coughing. now I'm spitting up phlegm with some blood in it. Is that bad?

i do smoke weed and cigs on a daily, whenever i smoke weed i always have like a 5 minuet cough fit.

It isn't good. Most likely you have a very irritated airway, resulting in a level of bleeding at who knows how many sites in and/or above your lungs. Or you could have tuberculosis, or maybe cancer. I have seen two patients of mine die of lung cancer, one the night before he would have had his bronchoscopy to be diagnosed, both of whom presented with occasional blood when they coughed. Both of these men basically drowned within minutes in their own blood when their cancer ate through a large enough blood vessel. Others die a more prolonged death where their cancer basically suffocates them. Neither is a pleasant way to go. I hope the memories of your various inhaled drugs still seem worth it to you when you near your end.

depends on how much blood ur coughing up. seek medical attention with a dr. u can trust. that must have been some bad weed if u starting coughing right away.

You should see a doctor. Not your idiot doctor, but A professional. If there is blood it would be bad.
