After reading William Inge’s Picnic, I believe Madge makes the wrong decision. Leaving Flo and Millie, she goes to Tulsa and, obviously, upsets Flo. I do not question that Madge, an eighteen year old, knows people think she is pretty, knows Flo favors Alan, and knows Flo does not like Hal. Alan says the following to Madge: “I don’t care if you’re real or not. You’re the prettiest girl I ever saw” (101). Hal says the following to Madge: “And you’re a woman, baby, whether you know it or not. You’re a real, live woman” (143). Alan views Madge as a doll; Hal views her as a real person. Because Madge sleeps with Hal, it is obvious she is attracted to him; because Hal calls Madge a woman, she is astonished. I believe Madge follows Hal because he is the first boy who lets her know she is more than pretty. Yearning to be with someone who makes her feel genuine, she follows him and, additionally proves her lack of common sense. Hal has no money, and he mentions living in a hotel basement. Most of the time, mothers know best and, clearly, Madge should listen to Flo.

Have you ever been to a born again christian meeting where the people hold their hands up in the air as they listen to sermons? What was your impression if you have experience this? What do you think of the christian rock groups lyrics and their music? The ones who play at such meetings. How do the very passionate sermons seem to you? How do the hittings or pushings on the foreheads of the yet to be saved seem to you? Is this the white peoples answer to the black gospel christian groups of old?

My boyfriend is a slimy cheat.
I had unprotected sex with his as we were in a relationship
I have seen the dirty girls he is now with and booked my appointment at the clinic on tuesday.
Now I am all in a panic I. I mean chances are I have something chances are I dont.
I am now 25 and when I was in my teens I did occasionally have un protected sex. I dont care what people say its a pasion killer asking a guy to use condoms and I am not the only one out there who does it cos if i was there would not be so many people having STD.

Can somebody tell me what I am to be tested for and what will happen?

I just bought Acuvue Oaysis contact lenses, i had a different brand before. one thing that comes to mind is school uniforms. wouldn't our kids be able to focus more on the task at hand if they're not constantly worried about what they are wearing. I have put three kids through school and I know this is a factor. also the new way they try to speed up the whole learning process is obviously not working when we are 17th out of 22 in education. high school graduates can't even read well. do we need to go back to the old drilling methods once used in schools. there are things that can be done that really don't cost anything. how about corporal punishment....when I went to school we were too afraid not to sit there and learn because if we got out of line you would get your butt set on fire.......any ideas?

There is a real weasel in my office & one of my close friends there has a real beef with him. It will all come to a head tonight when several office employees will attend a happy hour. My friend can take care of these guy easy but I feel compelled to assist.
