I know that AIDS kills millions of people every year, but can't we agree that most people who have AIDS got it from their own actions?
I KNOW some children are born with AIDS, and I KNOW a (very) small percentage of people get it from blood transfusions, but most people get it from promiscuous sex and dangerous drugs.

Why are we spending millions of dollars on a disease that has a cure? If everyone did not have sex until they were married, and then only had sex with their wife, the AIDS epidemic would be gone in 2, 3 generations, tops. Why are we spending so much money?

Give me $3 Million dollars. I just found the cure for AIDS. STOP HAVING SEX and STOP USING DRUGS. Can someone explain this to me? The only explanation I can think of is the whole "we are not responsible for our own actions" mentality that has gripped this nation.

i had this talk with someone close to me and he said that our world is decadin more and more..i sort of agree but we have to admit it's an excess of more than bad things..this world has passed from an age with no understandin of the people( like burned to the stake, gay men persecuted and banned, obscenity forbidden, virginity treasured..etc etc) around us to relative tolerance in some arias..i wonder just what is next for our ppl and the ones who will follow?more liberty or so much diversity it will confuse us so bad that we won't even have anythin national and original?

I am near Los Angeles and looking for a beginner cooking class, preferably a Japanese cooking class because I need to learn how to cook Japanese food (says my mom). I am not trying to do this as a career but I am sick and tired of being affraid of the stove. I just need to learn the basics of preparing food and I am not sure where to look. I tried to search for japanese cooking classes but no luck. Does anyone know of a place or a website? Maybe a good cook book or two for beginners?

ok well i recently met this guy through a friend he's a great guy.
we're really close friends now.

Basically, most of my take-home pay goes to my ex-wife. I work hard and keep enough of my salary to buy peanut butter to survive. The courts ignore student loan commitments and other important factors when calculating child support. But that is not my question. The problem is that the ex-wife uses the money for her own expensive lifestyle. Yes, "child support" money, if you can believe it. i know it may seem gross but i have a bit of a problem. Yesterday I stubed my toe and later noticed that my toe nail lifted because of it. Yes it hurt, and it bled a bit. I then cleaned it with peroxcide. Now that all that was taken care of It seems to me that there is now, a not to pleasent odor coming from the "acciedent"(toe nail)! Please..... does any one no of any cures, medicine, anything, to eliminate this issue. Is this normal. Please help. any doctors?

I don't really have any friends. I've never been able to make good friends (only had a couple in highschool, and they all left the state). Now I've been in college 3 years, and there's only half a dozen or so people that I regularly talk to at school. It seems like everybody already has their own friends already, and I always feel left out. I just don't know how or what to do. I'm afraid that if I go to live on my own, that without school I won't have anyone to talk to, and I'll become a hermit. I end up spending 2-3 hours a day on the computer because it's either that or watch TV. I have nothing better to do.
