i know it may seem gross but i have a bit of a problem. Yesterday I stubed my toe and later noticed that my toe nail lifted because of it. Yes it hurt, and it bled a bit. I then cleaned it with peroxcide. Now that all that was taken care of It seems to me that there is now, a not to pleasent odor coming from the "acciedent"(toe nail)! Please..... does any one no of any cures, medicine, anything, to eliminate this issue. Is this normal. Please help. any doctors?

If there is an odor than there is most likely an infection. See the Dr. antibiotics should clear it right up.

The odor probably means you have an infection somtimes when someone has a bad enough infection you can smell it and everything like when you get a sinus infection you can smell and taste it sometimes. I say soak it in warm water for maybe 5 to 10 minutes then wash it good with antibicteral soap dry good and put some peroxzide and neosporin on it and keep a band aid on it for the day so no germs can get in. If you still smell it after doing that for a couple nights then go see a doctor for meds.

Any kind of odor may indicate an infection...you may want to get to a doc to get it checked out. By the way, somewhat related - my mother had two incidents, several years apart, in which she pulled a hangnail off a finger. These incidents both stick out because they ended in trips to the ER for blood infections.
