When you told your parents or family members you were pregnant what were their answer or their re-action? How many months were you when you told them? Do you think your pregnancy or your child brought you and your family closer together or not?

I not only believe in God, but I know for a fact that he exists.

But, here's a question for non-believers:

Why must atheists always attack certain stories in the Bible?

An example would be foolish atheists attacking the story of a man who was executed for the crime of gathering sticks on the sabbath.

Hello? The law of Moses was new. The Jews were just recently freed from Egypt as slaves by Moses, so the man who was killed was used as an example to take the word of God seriously.

He had to have been killed.

If he didn't, then what would stop other people from working on the sabbath or doing other sins?

Atheists also say stuff like, "Would you support a law like that now?"

Hello? We live in different times. The situation back then was completely different.

That man's execution was perfectly justified.

Do you agree?

One day Bill complained to his friend, "My elbow really hurts, I guess I should see a doctor."

His friend offered, "Don't do that. There's a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker an cheaper than a doctor. Simply put in a sample of your urine and the computer will diagnose your problem and tell you what you can do about it. It only costs $10."

Bill figured he had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with a urine sample and went to the drug store. Finding the computer, he poured in the sample and deposited the $10. The computer started making some noise and various lights started flashing. After a brief pause out popped a small slip of paper on which was printed: You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water. Avoid heavy lifting. It will be better in two weeks.

Late that evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was and how it would change medical science forever, he began to wonder if this machine could be fooled. He decided to give it a try. He mixed together some tap water, a stool sample from his dog and urine samples from his wife and daughter. To top it off, he masturbated into the concoction.

He went back to the drug store, located the machine, poured in the sample and deposited the $10. The computer again made the usual noise and printed out the following message:

Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. Your dog has worms. Get him vitamins. Your daughter is using cocaine. Put her in a rehabilitation clinic. Your wife is pregnant with twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer. And if you don't stop jerking off, your tennis elbow will never get better.

I got a ticket with 2 violations one for making a right turn on a red light without stopping and one for running the light before it turned green. The thing is that the officer somehow put down the wrong street and that street that they put does not have a light at that intersection. The street is wrong for both inractions so would they remove only that one violation because there is no light at the given intersection or will the entire ticket be dissmissed? can you please help? thank you

my husband and i have been having a very rocky relationship lately, fighting all the time, no communication, much hurt and emotional abuse.. we have been together for 6 years and i took my vows very seriously... i have been dealing with crohn's disease for many years now and he has seen me through that and been very supportive, but lately, he doesn't give a rats bum about anything... i am only 25 and have a lot of life ahead of me, but i would like to do whatever i can to protect my vows.. he, on the other hand, has pretty much given up.. i have made an appointment with a counselor for 2 weeks from now, but i am not sure if we will make it that long... should i let him go, or ask him to stay till we can at least go see the counceler?

I'm 17 and she's 15.. For Valentines, I wanted to do something for her... I wrote her a letter with glitter pen and made it really special. I snuck it into her backpack at school. She read it and she said she loved it. Last Friday.. A female friend of mine was asking her about her valentines.. and she says in front of both of us.. "sucked"

Here I am writing her a letter (something I've never done for any of my other girlfriends before)... We've been together for about 5 months. I feel used by her and unappreciated.

I have no idea what I want to do.. Do you think I over-reacted when I just left the group and went home because I was so hurt?
