Do this procedure and use your Antivirus and Antispyware programs.

TEMPORARILY SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2. Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options.

3. On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click "Show hidden files and folders", and clear(uncheck) the "Hide protected operating system files" check box.

IMPORTANT: Files are hidden by Windows for a very good reason. It is not wise to experiment with these files. Unfortunately, to successfully remove modern spyware we must turn this protection off temporarily. Please turn the protection back on when you have finished cleaning your system.

EMPTY INTERNET EXPLORER BROWSER CACHE:

1. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options.

2. On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. Select the Delete all offline content check box in the confirmation dialogue box that appears, click OK. Click OK again.

RESTART IN SAFE MODE:

To do this you need to hold down or repeatedly tap the F8 key while the computer is booting (when the computer is displaying a black screen with white text). When the boot menu appears, use your keyboard arrows to select "Safe Mode."

Safe Mode can look quite ugly. The color may look bad, and all of your desktop icons will be very large. This is normal.

START THE SCAN WITH YOUR PROGRAM(S).

When the scan and removal are completed REBOOT COMPUTER. This will restart you in normal mode.

RESET HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.

The RESTORE POINTS may be infected with the Malware and cannot be used. Delete the old one(s) and make a new one.

CLEAR OLD RESTORE POINT(S). HERE'S HOW:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

2. Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click on the System Restore tab.

3. Select the Turn Off System Restore check box, click Apply, then restart your computer.

4. Return to the System Restore Tab and turn System Restore back on.

TO SET A NEW RESTORE POINT:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Point to Programs, then navigate to Accessories, then System Tools, then click System Restore.

3. Choose Create a restore point, and then click Next.

4. In the Restore point description box, type a name for your restore point, and then click Next.

5. Click OK.

NOTE: If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and are unable to access the Internet after removing Malware, there is a command that may fix the problem. It works by resetting the winsock catalogue. Click on Start, then Run and type CMD in the box. Click OK. Type "netsh winsock reset" (no quotes)into the DOS window that appears.

Easy way the Real Professionals do heres good tip Most comman Virus these days is Trogan plus Win32 some thing to Remove it without data loss or re install an Os, get some hard drive of other computer which has already the same version of operating system installed as yours, attach it to your computer then insert Win98 cd and reboot your computer from it. start computer with cd rom help change your directory to cd rom directory i.e e:\win98> then some thing important if your computer has windows Xp, then, give this command

e:\win98>cd c:
c:\cd windows

and then delete Explorer.exe
like this c:\windows\del explorer.exe

Then give this command
c:\windows\copy f:\windows\explorer.exe

remember here that in above line "f:" is the windows directory of the other hard drive this will copy the explorer file of the other hard drive this will remove the half of the threat.
the next step is that open all hard drives in dos mode and delete the files Autorun.inf, Ravmon.exe and System file information. reboot your system and this virus which remove the Tools -> Folder options will be gone and your folder options are back..

the other Virus is very easy to remove after doing the above task show all the hidden files from folder options and DONT FORGET TO UNCHECK the next two options as well.

then go to search for files and folders and write *.exe this will show all of the exe files in your system NOTE: you will see some folders as well in yellow color just select those folders in the list and press Shift + Delete Bingo there you go you are now safe And Now Install AVG 7.5 Proffesional Edition that is Light and very effective.... i should recommend using AVG anti virus.. it is the best free based antivirus software out in the market today. comparing it with any other top class anti virus out there AVG is much unique and a very user friendly program. Unlike any other anti virus software AVG searches everything even the deepest junks and secrets of your System that is not normally known in existence. that is why no viruses can escape from it even famous anti virus can't match the power that AVG has. I tried so many famous anti virus programs available today and I should say among those I've used AVG is unstoppable. so try using it.

nicely in case you have 2 or greater partitions after formatting your disk it ought to nevertheless be contaminated from the different partitions. attempt formatting your different partitions after backing up your significant documents on a flash disk and not on a CD or DVD reason it might does no longer have the flexibility to be bumped off. format all partitions and then get an anti-virus like avg information superhighway. i think of that would do it.

Easy try the RESTORE feature first. It is like a time machine to go back before you opened the folder. Anyway, go to START, ALL PROGRAM, PC HELP & TOOLS, then click RESTORE. It will explain. Only use Symantec if this does not work. Then download free virus spyware too.
