I know a silly question! I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my second and I didn't get to experience labor coming on naturally with my first so I really don't know what to look for or expect (I was induced at 37 with my first). Yesterday I kept having non-stop, back to back braxton hicks. Some were more intense than others, some made my cervix feel like it was being jabbed open! (May be that was the baby's head?) I see my doc today and he'll be checking my progress. Wish me luck and thanks in advance!

i installed limewire but it only seems to let me download one song. next time i logged on it prompted me to install java(?) so did that and it was fine for a while, but then after a while, every song i tried to download had sum crazy ad by a bush impersonater in its place, and now it wont let me on there at all. i click on it on my desktop and nowt happens. bear in mind im bad with computers so laymans terms please...fanx

I can understand getting email spam when a product or service is being advertised or when someone is trying to scam me. But why do people bother sending spam when it contains no link to a website or product, and in some cases no text, or nothing that is intelligible?

A related question: if spammers want me to read their messages, why do they use names that are obviously fake?

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 15) - An Air Force drill sergeant who posed nude for Playboy magazine has been removed from active duty, she and the Air Force said Wednesday. Michelle Manhart, who appeared in a six-page spread in Playboy's February issue, said she got word Friday that she was removed from "extended active duty" and was also told that she was demoted from staff sergeant to senior airman.

"I'm disappointed in our system," Manhart told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "They went too far with it."

Manhart said that she was reverted to her Air National Guard status and that she submitted a "resignation" to the Guard, which she said is pending. Manhart was a member of the Iowa Air National Guard before going on extended active duty.

Oscar Balladares, a spokesman for Lackland Air Force Base, confirmed that Manhart was removed from extended active duty Friday but said Lackland did not discharge her.

"She was removed from active duty status, and thus reverted to National Guard status," Balladares said. "It is not up to the Air Force -- it is not our jurisdiction to discharge her."

Lt. Col. Greg Hapgood, a spokesman for the Iowa National Guard, said that because the Guard did not have "documentation of her separation" from the Air Force, it did not have her on duty status.

Every time I try to have any conversation with my husband, whether serious or chit chat, he always has to make some referance to the size of my boobs. I guess he's always done it, but now after having two kids and having kept a few of those baby lbs every converations comes around to how big they are.
What's the darn obsession? And why can't he understand that that makes me very self consious about them.

I was listnening to a radio station last night and so many people rang in giving out because the English anthem God Save the Queen is going to be played at Croke Park on Sunday when England come ton play a Rugby match against Ireland, many Irish people think it shouldn't be played because of what went on in the 1920's in Croke Park(Bloody Sunday). I'm due this coming Monday, Feb. 19th. I have a cold. Really bad cold! Like aching, stuffy head, cant breathe at night (also because of asthma). Im not running any fever, I just feel like crap. Do some of you think it is possible for the Dr. to put off the induction since Im sick? I just need something to relieve the aches, tried hot showers, but nothing works.

At the weekend, I transfered all my husband's and my clothes from exposed hanging rails into a new wardrobe. Since then, I've noticed lots of little gold, dusty moths flying around the flat and generally just hanging out on the walls. I'm assuming they came from the clothes. Should I be worried? Do moths really eat fabric or is that just an old wive's tale? How can I get rid of them? (without wanting to sound like too much of a mad insectophobe)

So why do we get so uptight about paedophiles and the like when the majority of child abusers are relatives?
A stranger shouldn't necessarily be branded a bad person....that is a gross over-reaction.
The latest incident of a 2 year old being raped and murdered [allegedly by her uncle] makes me despair of the human race.
What say others?

Does anybody out there has days when they can't seem to get anything done? Sometimes I'm really productive, but other days I just sit in my office and don't get anything done...even though I want to be productive, it's like something stronger than me won't let me do anything. I have a lot of paperwork I need to do, but sometimes I can't handle, it's like I need to zone out on a regular basis, if I was able to, I'm sure I'd spend those days watching tv, but since I can't do that in the office, I just kinda surf the net...I have some co-workers that get all their paperwork done right away, but I'm always lagging behind. I feel so guilty about this! Is this normal?
