Whats that about, how can I get the points. Or do they sometimes add them on after a while. Im positive that my score was the same as before I got the points so what can I do about it???????????

For the quadratic equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0,
the discriminant is D = b^2 - 4ac.

1) When D > 0 - There are 2 different real solutions
2) When D = 0 - There is a repeated real solution
3) When D < 0 - There are 2 different complex solutions

There is supposedly a common element(s) in the quadratic equations whose discriminant equals 0 and has a repeated real solution . What is common between all quadratic equations that have a repeated real solution or where D = 0?????

Here are some quadratics with a repeated real solution:

x^2 + (2 square root 2) + 2= 0
D = b^2 - 4ac
D = (2 square root 2)^2 - 2x4x1
D = 8 -8
D = 0 =0
Therefore there is a repeated real solution

x^2 -10x + 25 = 0
D = b^2 - 4ac
D = (-10)^2 -4x25x1
D = 100 - 100
D = 0 = 0
Therefore there is a repeated real solution

SO WHAT IS COMMON BETWEEN ALL THESE QUADRATIC EQUATIONS??????????????

After a 3 years long-distance relationship -but we were about to be finally together for sure!- she decided to break up arguing she missed physical presence. 2 month after that she confessed she had a new boyfriend! It broke my heart like never. All my friends consider it's been very quick regarding to the context... I really wonder if she has been seeing this guy before we broke up. 6 month after I'm not totally done with that and am still thinking of her.
What do you think about my wonder and do you know how for me to be over it once and for all?
I'm not in contact with her anymore and I'm very far from her.

My puppy (about 8 weeks old) came from the RSPCA, after being found starving on the street, and is apparently half Australian bull-terrier, half short-haired border collie. She is very active and demanding. She wants me to play all the time and jumps up at me, trying to bite my hands and feet (whether I'm sitting in a chair, on the floor with her, or standing up). If I tell her off, she looks up at me with big eyes, then she lies down looking up at me, like "You big bully, you scared me." Then after five minutes she starts again with the jumping. I have never hit her, and never would - I just say "NO" so she understands I don't like to be bitten, but she makes me feel so horrible! I don't have time to play with her non-stop. I take her for walks twice a day and she has lots of toys and rawhide to chew. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can teach her to calm down?

I have a friend who is always so concerned with how she loks, and always craves the attention of others (particularly men). It really bugs me!! she is constantly over-dressed (for example, if we go to a casual lunch, she will spend hours getting ready), and always is looking to ensure that all attention is focussed on her. It really bothers me because I constantly feel ill at ease in her presence. It is almost like she is competeing with everybody for attention, when all I want is to be her friend! How do you deal with a person like this?

I have a crush with this guy, we're from the same school now in college and found out that we're from the same province and go to same highshool back... We're not really close but we text each other maybe 2x a month with just some silly quotes... then one day I had the courage and text him... I ask if he have some feelings for me!!! but days passed and no response from him... And from that moment on I never texted him again... Then we saw each other at the airport but we never even say hi hello to each other... I don't know it's a weird feeling that I still like him but don't want to be hurt by that feeling anymore... So I still have this question in my mind why he never reply with my question if he have feelings for me... It just simple as YES or a NO!!!
