This is to do with a power system but I assume that the equation will be similar.

The change in frequency to which i refer is the frequency on the elctricity netowrk, E.g. 50Hz

I'm guessing that you're talking about the rotational inertia involved with getting a turbine (water or steam) up to speed and phase-locked into the local distribution grid?

If so then yeah, the equations are 'kinda' similar. But when you turn on the control system that requlates the turbine speed, it becomes a whole different can of worms ☺

well if you can keep swinging something continual like a rope ore that he sound changes, inertia no possible with gravity or sound.
