take an iron on a low heat setting, use a paper bag and some blotting cloths, lay the paper on the spot and iron, moving the paper bag until all the was is out.
Got this from answers earlier. The other thing I found was I have a steam machine for cleaning and after I ironed out the wax, I was able to steam the stain out also.

First of all try to remove as much as possible of the wax which has hardened. Then place a blotting paper beneath and another one on top of the wax, and use a hot iron. The wax will melt and will be absorbed by the blotting paper.
