We have an older brick ranch home with plaster interior walls. The plaster is put right on wood stripping that is right up against the brick. Thus, since the plaster filled in every crack and space there is no room in between the plaster or the wood stripping and the brick to blow insulation into. The walls are cold and therefore cold inside the house. What can we do to insulate this house short of removing the plaster and wood stripping adding a wood frame to put drywall on and then blowing in insulation?
Whew! Makes me tired just thinking about it. I hope someone knows how to insulate this old brick house.

He said Suppan was the best pitcher in the NL last year. Hearing that makes me sick, he leaves a contender to sign a big money deal with a crappy team that has no chance to win anything. Prove me wrong if you dont agree with me.

has just stated. I have just returned from Rwanda where I met many, many people whose whole families had been wiped out during the 1994 Genocide.. they had NO-ONE... i met women who had been raped by multiple men during 1994 and were now living with Aids, unwanted children or injuries which left them ostracised from their communities.....THAT IS TRAGEDY

Why does the media have to make such sweeping statements? It is sad that she died but the tragedies in her life were self induced [ASIDE FROM HER SON'S DEATH].

She married a guy on his last legs and he unsurprisingly died a year later...how is that a tragedy??? She was in the media spotlight of her own volition and developed a drug/alcohol problem [yet still lived in comfort] .. how is that tragic?... She could have kept a lower profile and attempted to resolve her problems...

It just makes me angry that people in the West [and I am British] feel that we are so hard done by in life....

She's 16 months old and just as smart as a whip, but the ony thing she says that could even be close to something coherent is "mama", everything else is just sort of a high pitched shriek as she points her finger........The doctor said she should be saying 4-6 words by 16 months and she barely says one.
Anyone ever have a child with similar problems? and if so, did you find anything that helped them develop more quickly?

I am a police trainee. Training lasts 21 weeks. I got injured during training and was off sick for a year on full pay. So I have been employed by Police for 16 months. I returned to training 5 months ago and I recieved a fixed penalty notice for speeding and got a written warning from my employer. Last night I got another fixed penalty notice for speeding. I will have to inform my employer in Monday morning. I am afraid I could get sacked. I know if I was a proper police officer (finished training) then my behaviour would not justify dismissal. A normal trainee who has less than 6 months service could get dismissed for absolutely anything. Each offence I was 15 miles over the speed limit. Could I getsacked for this even though I've strictly been employed for over a year but still in training. I know a few police officers and they said I will get a total roasting from my boss and another written warning but wont get the sack. I still am terriffied I will be sacked.
