i heard this is common with xanax. the reason i asked is cause i just got it prescribed today for insomnia

i had surgery about 10 days ago to remove a cyst from my nose and my doctor cut up past my hairline so the scarring wouldn't be noticeable. he used dissolving stitches (the incision goes from one ear, over my head to the other ear) and i forgot to ask him when i was at my post-op earlier this week how long they will be there.
does anyone know about how long until they dissolve?

And no, contrary to another poster, it is not Rachel McAdams or Shania Twain. He only gave two options. And neither one is any good. lol Not even close. Nor is it Britney Spears. Give me a break. I see better looking women than Britney walking down the street every day. I say Marilyn Monroe is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I usually only like Brunettes, but Monroe is the exception:)

what is a better and less awkward way to say way to say i like you. the problem im having is that there is no way i can take this girl out on a date now are any time in the near future and im at the point were its now are never. so how can i put it in words that are not as blunt as randomly saying i like you yet get the message across just as good?

Brain in a vat (BIV) scenario: Could it be I live in a Matrix-like world, and my brain sits in a vat of juice, and there's some mad scientist poking at different areas of my brain?

I think there is a God, BUT if I ever wake up, all that there is, is just a smiling mad scientist/chemicals and neurons?

Is this all an illusion? How do I figure out if this idea of mine of an illusory world is true or false? (You can argue there are no true ideas in an illusory world, but I beg to differ: the mad scientist can inject that true idea in me.)

My answer: It seems I can never know whether brain-in-a-vat existence is true until if I wake up one day and realize that I was, indeed, living a BIV existence.

Thus, how do I live life, in this stage of not knowing?

Everything I thought true I don't know anymore. I'm caught between a life as I've always known it (including my belief in the Christian God) and the persistent, gnawing doubt of global skepticism that I can't get rid of.

I work at Randall's and it's not the most glamorous job (i'm still in school, give me time :/), but my supervisor announced that there was a "non-corporate" position and he was looking for someone to fill it. I work in the bakery, and even with all the work I do, it's bascially "wait and see" when it comes to me getting hours for different reasons every week, and lately the company's hired 3 more people in my department so it's really getting annoying. Every weekend I have to worry about if I'm going to make enough to cover my bills.

Well, this position is a wine stuart (I think that's what it's called) because there's like 1,500 different kinds of wine/liquor. The job would be wine stuart/price tagger (or something) where I just tag prices and whatnot. That's supposed to be 40 hours, and I told him I was interested, but I think I can do more to show that I'd like this.

What can I do to show my supervisor that I want this position?
