My advice is to book a room at Cheshire Inn and take her to dinner at The Melting Pot. Or if your not into fondue then I would suggest Tony's downtown. It is one of the most romantic places in this town. You can do a horse drawn carriage ride through downtown.

Definitely Cheshire Inn... I've stayed their a few times. Try to reserve their Jungle room!

There are a lot of great restaurants in Clayton (5mins away) or on in the Washington Loft District (15 mins away by car).

Cheshire is also close to the Art Museum, Jewel Box (indoor flower garden), St. Louis Zoo, The Missouri Botanical Garden, Busch Stadium, Scottrade Center, and much more.

There are some great restaurants in 'The Hill' neighborhood in St. Louis. Simply ask around once you get to St. Louis and someone can tell you where to go. Also, I like the Cheshire restaurant/hotel answer as well. Near the Cheshire is downtown Clayton which also has some nice restaurants and hotels.

You should definitely check out Bailey's Chocolate Bar in Soulard; it is one of the best romantic night out places to go in town.

For dinner, I like to go to Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse at I-270 and Olive.

I hope this helps!

Go to the arch.

Book a cheap hotel using this site. It compares all the best hotel sites right on one site and you can book from here, too. Best site I've ever seen. No joke.

I don't think there is anything romantic about my city. That is why I go to other places but you can just stay at any hotel. They are about all the same.

Go to the beach for romance!
