i had surgery about 10 days ago to remove a cyst from my nose and my doctor cut up past my hairline so the scarring wouldn't be noticeable. he used dissolving stitches (the incision goes from one ear, over my head to the other ear) and i forgot to ask him when i was at my post-op earlier this week how long they will be there.
does anyone know about how long until they dissolve?

"self-dissolving" sort which tend to break up some 10 days or 2 weeks after the surgery. See Source for more information on stitches.
