according to nba.com:

"Miami Heat guard Gary Payton has been suspended for one game without pay for directing obscenities and other verbal abuse at game officials upon ejection, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 0:34.7 remaining in the second period of the Heat’s 117-98 win over the Bucks at The Bradley Center on Saturday, Feb. 3. Payton will serve the suspension tonight when the Heat visit the Charlotte Bobcats at Charlotte Bobcats Arena."

i didnt see the game so i dont know what to think. did they even give him a technical for it? i dont think ive heard of a player getting suspended for swearing at the officials... technical foul yes but suspension? is this fair or is stu jackson causing trouble again? what do you guys think?

My cat has some dry flakes in her coat, back towards her tail. She is too fat to reach her tongue back there to groom herself. I am thinking of having her fur shaved around that area. What is wrong with her? Why does she act so aggressively when I itch her? She also licks me when I brush her coat. I've changed her cat food to Royal Canin, and Nutro dry food, and I add some of this Dream Coat oil from the Health food store to her wet food in the morning. It hasn't been long enough to know if it's making a difference yet. Also, she throws up hair balls every week, and it seems as though in the last year, she developed these 2 new ugly habits. She is 8 years old, and I had the vet examine her and her blood work came back fine. Next step would be x-rays.....I don't want to do that if I can get some answers on-line first. Has anyone else had this "itchy" problem with their cat? What's the best thing for hairballs? Would shaving be good or bad-She's strictly an indoor cat..help

I am 5 weeks pregnant and yesterday i started bleeding. I have no cramps and when i attended hospital they told me that my cervix was closed and that at that time it was a threatened miscarriage. This was at 1pm yesterday and I am still bleeding now. It is like a usual period however usually on my first day I get terrible pain which often makes me vomit. I have no pain now. At the hospital they took a blood test to check my HCG levels. I am now due to go back in the morning for another check on my HCG. This is my first pregnancy and it is very much wanted. I am now getting myself into a terrible state and am convinced that I am miscarrying. Also when I got up yesterday morning my breasts were very sore and tender but today now I have no pain in them at all - could this mean I have miscarried. I am going out of my brain and am frightened that if I havnt miscarried already the state I am in will cause me to. I just have a terrible feeling that I have already miscarried. Please help

I was eating some veggie dip and was like "this stuff is pretty expensive and seems to be just like salad dressing, but *maybe* thicker". Does anybody know what the difference is between a dressing and a dip? Is it strictly the thickness? I haven't looked into it yet but i think dressing is cheaper so i figured maybe i should stop getting $3.80 things of veggie dip and get me some dressing.

I stopped eating meat about 3 weeks ago and since then have had continual stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea and acid reflux...could this be because I'm eating more cheese (ate cheese sparingly before), noodles (wheat), beans, fruits and veggies? Or is my body in shock from not eating meat anymore? (I have lost 5 pounds so far! yay!)

Praise be to Allah alone, all such accusations have been successfully refuted by the Muslims Ummah. Currently, one of the ‘reinvented’ accusations against the noble character of the Prophet is about his marriage to young Aisha Siddiqa (r.a.).Let’s probe some of the orientalists’ charges in detail in the light of modern research, historic evidence and the Islamic sources of the Qur’an and the Sunnah to separate truth from falsehood, and display to the world that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is indeed an exemplary for all of mankind.Two main theories are often advance by orientalists to attack the pure character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on his marriage to Aisha (r.a.) at her young age.A. He was a Paedophile.

B. He was involved in child abuse.

Let’s analyse each theory to dig out the truth, through the Guidance of Allah (SWT).
A. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) married Aisha (r.a.) because he was a paedophile?

Definition of a Paedophile:

“Pedophile: also spelled PAEDOPHILIA, psychosexual disorder in which an adult’s arousal and sexual gratification occur primarily through sexual contact with prepubescent children. The typical paedophile is unable to find satisfaction in an adult sexual relationship and may have low self-esteem, seeing sexual activity with a child as less threatening than that with an adult.” Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1998.“pe.do.phil.ia n [NL] (1906): sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object — pe.do.phil.i.ac or pe.do.phil.ic adj.” Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary.

The diagnostic criteria for paedophilia according to American Psychiatric Association:


Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent intense sexual urges and sexual arousing fantasies involving sexual activity with a prepubescent child or children.
The person has acted on these urges, or is markedly distressed by them.
The person is at least 16 years old and at least 5 years older than the child or children in A.

“In addition to their paedophilia, a significant number of paedophiles are concomitantly or have previously been involved in exhibitionism, voyeurism, or rape”. OK... so lately my friends dog died and i started thinking of my two labs that died really sadly (brain tumor na dold age) also my grandpa has cancer and we can never predict whne he might you know pass. i am extremely sad and i feel like im about to cry hard but the tears dont come.

this my sound stupid but could it be be cuz i cryed recently or is there sumthing worng with me. and plz im not crying cuz it dusnt strike me as sad in fact im really reallly reallly sad.
