I want to become a clinical dietitian. I would need to get my bachelors degree in dietetics. The problem is that I am 36 years old and never took any college prep courses when I was in high school. I know it would take at least 4 years to get the degree but would not having taken the right courses in high school make it take even longer? If so how much longer and is the 4 year time frame based on going to school full time or part time.

At 36 I have finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up but I am clueless about the whole college thing. Help

Personally, I cannot wait for the smoking ban to come into effect, 1 July 2007. Although the platforms are technically "outdoors" the populace seems to use the platforms like ciggy sanctuaries, lighting up the minute they step off a train, or smoking like chimneys whilst waiting for a train. Still a platform is surely a public area, so will smoking on them be a thing of the past?

I went to the vet to get my puppy vaccinated the other day and the doctor's answers seemed a little odd. I want to know if anyone thinks the same.

I've been feeding him a very good quality food but he said you don't want to feed him just Nutrience for the rest of his life. My sis asked if it was ok to switch to a cheaper supermarket brand, he said "certainly!" He encouranged changing his diet and letting him try different brands (with a gradual change ofcourse). He said to feed him food scraps. My sis aked if bread was ok. He said "yes but not too often". I thought he would of said "certainly not" or something. He told me if I wanted to buy a crate, he showed me with his arms the length of around 1.5m long, which is quite large for a maltese crossbred. He told me that I didn't have to buy odour cleaners from the pet store, instead clean with normal cleaners and just give it a final good wash with water. I never heard you could do that before.

I got to know this really great guy.
He is really popular and I am very glad that I did.

Problem is that I like him. So I am friedns with his best friend
as well, so I told him. Now his best friend is a very trust worthy person. So I expected him not to tell his friend that I like him.
After that, the guy I liked ignored me.
So I e-mailed him, and he said he was sorry.
Then one day he told me that he knew I liked him.
Now he still ignoresme, but he stares at me all the time.
Whenever he gets the chance, he looks at me, when a grin on his face. But when I notice him, he looks away.

What does any of this mean?

I am a fun loving person and my experiences in high school and college made me a person who loves practical jokes and dissing. jus for fun nothing personal and my girlfriend is not spared either. She hates this and as a result she is angry at me everyday and has spoilled fundays coz of this. i cant change coz I am addicted to this and i sometimes notice I dissed coz evryone would have laugh. I am so good i laugh at my own jokes. how can i convince my girl to understand? What can i do. She says I am childish. Ive been pagan all my life,and just in the past few years Ive connected with,met,and become friends with other pagans.However,I have always had an awareness that there are spiritual forces that wish for my failure to be a positive influence spiritually on others;evil,I suppose you would call it,by it's motives and devices,has always recognized me as a threat to it's endeavors,and has countless times attempted to manipulate circumstances so I am challanged when I am doing good,or bringing light to someone who almost gave up and lost sight in what is good.I dont say that I feel this to be evil,as in a devil,or demons....But I do say there are spirits that desire our failure, as their victory.I have never met or spoke to a pagan who is willing to acknowledge what I know.They usually say there are spirits that are mischievious,even malevolent in nature,but there is no Spiritual war..I disagree.I have battled many negative spirits & people, and I have also been guided and blessed by others.
