I got to know this really great guy.
He is really popular and I am very glad that I did.

Problem is that I like him. So I am friedns with his best friend
as well, so I told him. Now his best friend is a very trust worthy person. So I expected him not to tell his friend that I like him.
After that, the guy I liked ignored me.
So I e-mailed him, and he said he was sorry.
Then one day he told me that he knew I liked him.
Now he still ignoresme, but he stares at me all the time.
Whenever he gets the chance, he looks at me, when a grin on his face. But when I notice him, he looks away.

What does any of this mean?

He may be trying to take some time to figure out if he likes you the same. I think it may be too soon to tell. I'd ignore him though and not let him catch me looking his way. Take his behavior into consideration when deciding that you really like him. If you feel embarrassed or humiliated or uncomfortable in any way due to anything he's said or done since he found out that you like him, that's uncool and not respectable. So just listen to your gut feelings, don't disregard them. They are often truer than we care to acknowledge.

Hay clueless,
Maybe this guy likes you too but he is shy to tell you. He maybe waiting for you to approach him and speak to him.
Or maybe you must be the butt of some joke the guys made and thats why he reacts in that manner.
I would advice you to find out from friends (try to ask guys you know well) if there is some kind of rumour going around about you.

That you should talk to him and ask him out, at the moment you are in a bad position of not knowing where you stand.

If you ask him out, you are either rejected and can move on, or accepted and get the win! If he's looking at you and smiling, chances are he likes you. His earlier behaviour is strange, but maybe he's just really shy?

He is playing with you like some kind of toy. He knows you like him and he knows he has you hooked. Are you certain that he is so great by playing his macho game with you like this? If he's so popular and all, maybe he's too popular. Too much for his overinflated ego. And maybe his friend isn't as trustworthy as you thought. Maybe this means that you should quit playing this juvenile game of his. Stop taking the bait and ignore him and see what happens. Believe it; he isn't that great and he wasn't sorry either. Kind of small knocking you around like that.
