This older college professor, Morrie Schwartz, was a victim of ALS, a nerve condition that would eventually end in his death. In response to his illness, he began to 'mentor' an enormous amount of people and even ended up having his own Nightline mini-series.

In the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie is quoted to say,

"Love is the only rational action."


Does anyone agree with this? Do they disagree? How does this reflect how we perceive emotions? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR ANSWERS!

Plz take in to account all the factors one wishes for in life like quality of life, good jobs, nice non-violent ppl. good scenery, better environmental conditions. A just legal system. Peace loving, helping ppl. A safe place to live in. Even though the amount of money u make may not b huge , but the life is pretty decent, people r more accomodative n friendly. Lots of avenues to explore for a occupation. progressive minded people. Something closest to a heaven on earth. Lots of fun . Please dont suggest u s a as It has a lot of money and a few things mentioned above, but wanna exclude it. No offfence 2 any1 n nothing against it , but still a no to it and australia too(again no offence). If there r some really beautiful(in all aspects) countries plz let me know. If u all can suggest some really good 1s i am sure i can use that data. Some excitement is what i am loooking forward 2. All the suggestions will be valued a lot .Take care guys n have fun. Okay, I have a gf...love her madly, very secure in the fact that she only has eyes for me, but she likes to flirt on her 360 page...a lot...she had toned it down a bit, but I still dont like going to her page and seeing it is not clear that she has a man, and also seeing comments made by other guys in a suggestive manner...I think it is embarassing to me, say if a friend of mine saw it I could see them saying something like "are you sure you have a girlfriend?" It is my second marriage, the first for my fiance..She is a doll, I am the luckiest man in the world,,,but,,,her stress is about to send me over the edge!! me and my guy live in new zealand and i don't want the big wedding as i have 11 friends who are doing it around the same time we actually had planned and that just annnoys me, so i want to go on a big expensive holiday to the usa and elope but i just don't want to be lonely and feel that i want someone else there. This is in referance to my last question. I noticed that A LOT of answers implied that fat people stink. I am what society would consider fat or even obese. I am far from lazy, hold down a full time job, I am a full time single mother, my house is so clean you can eat off of the floor (But I prefer the kitchen table LOL). I DON'T SMELL BAD! FAR FROM IT!!! I take two showers a day, I dress nicely, use make-up and really take care of my personal hygeine. I am also a complete Germophobe, so I can't stand mess or dirt, my only issue is that I am fat. So why is it that when people see, think about or picture a fat person they automatically assume people who are on the larger side are lazy and smell bad?? I put fat in quotations because society standards of thin is unatainable unless you are anorexic or bulimic, neither of which are very appealing ways to achive physical perfection, yet women do it all of the time.
