I have always tried to be a good decent person - people always screw me over or stuff doesn't work out & I am never in a "good" state in life.....I am going to give up & resign myself to a sucky life....that seems that it's going to be that way anyway- There are no honest, kind people anymore & nothing is going to go my way

I'm talking about natural urges, not rational decisions.

If you are male, do you desire casual relationships with young, attractive women?

If you are female, do you look for "strength and security" (to quote a real female) and more of a long-term thing?

Do you know that this is explained by evolution?

Men make a small investment in children, so they can spread genes best by mating with fertile females as often as possible (quantity of mates).

Women make a huge investment in children, so they pass their genes best by selecting mates who will help with the burden (quality of mates).

Any thoughts? I think there's plenty of evidence for this (e.g. internet pornography).

so i'm a male and my girlfriend recently told me that she wants to try a new practice called "figging" but i have no idea what it is and i don't want to ask her because i don't want to seem sexually illiterate to her. i just know she said it has something to do with ginger root?? what exactly is it and is it safe??? anyone have any experience???

I installed the new version of Internet Explorer 7 last weekend...BIG MISTAKE! All of the sudden my computer started acting slow...very slow. I removed it from my control panel after I did some research that many people had this problem as well. Did anybody else have this problem?

The story of Jepthah's daughter--she is sacrificed to the Lord due to a vow Jepthah makes with God saying that if God helps him defeat the Ammonites, he will offer unto him the first thing that walks out of his house upon his return. Which is his daughter. Who he kills to keep his promise. I find this very bizarre--Christians accuse Pagans and the like (falsely) of such practices, and the practice of human sacrifice makes it into their holy text.

Me and my cousin were getting ready to assemble a basketball hoop. We had all the poles line up for connection. On one end of each pole it has a dimpled hole to lock it on the other side that has a shape that fits the dimpled side to join the two poles together. But we made a mistake, we accidentally placed the dimpled side 1/4 off from the designated place. The two poles were stuck together. How can we separate the two poles? any suggestions?

It started a couple months ago, just progressively got worse. I had to go to the hospital and have an epideral in my neck. I have 2 pinched nerves there, could this be causing this tinkeling I am having in my fingers and hands. It feels likes its asleep. Any input would help.. Professional answers would be greatly appreciated. Do I need to see a specialist for this like a Neurologist or something? Doc said the ole ticker is fine by the way.. So its not that..
