Nymphomania is wanting sex, period, having no intimate / emotional passionate feeling or attachment to a person.

When you have a boyfriend/husband and you are very much in love with them, it is normal to want to make love to them often because you love them so much and that makes you want to share the intimate bond with them as much as possible.

I love sex and I want it all the time, but I only want it with my fiance who I am deeply in love with. I think that is where the desire comes from. When I was single, I didn't want to have sex with anyone else because I did not have strong feelings for them. I could never have sex with someone I didn't have feelings for.

There is a difference between regular sex and passionate sex, I guess. I think of it a different way. There is sex, which is just the act. You do it because it feels good and you like it. To me it doesn't have anything to do with love, its just a physical act. It can be anything from long sex to just a short romp in the back of the car or in a bathroom. Then there is making love, which is more passionate and is aimed at showing your love for the other person, embracing one another and sharing the experience. I guess I could say there is something else, beyond just sex but I'm not sure that matters... Of course its normal and good that you think of your boyfriend when you aren't together. Having feelings or thoughts about sex doesn't have anything to do with being a man or a woman. People who say they don't aren't being honest. Enjoy yourself when you are together and alone.

Nymphomania is no longer a scientific term per the DSM-IV, it is now referred to as hypersexuality. There is a lot of debate between what is "normal" sexuality, but generally hypersexuality has to do more with the act of sex and stimulation of the genitalia vs. sharing and warmth with ones partner.

nymphomania is a sickness. only girls can aquire it; not guys. A nimphomaniac does it with whoever, wherever and whenever the urge is there. nimphomaniacs cant control it. On the other hand, wanting passionate and warm sex with a man is normal.

nymphomania = wanting sex with a man, any man.

You just love your man a lot. And maybe he's not loving you back as much as you'd like if you need constant "proof" of his love.

One is scary and disturbing, because this woman cannot be satisfied by one guy. Ever.

The second is extremely attractive, and up to par with my needs.
Where are the women who want sex often?

well.. id say the difference is how often and how "kinky" you are when you do have sex. If its all day every day and the sex is extremely dirty.. .id say you are a nympho.
