Everyone knows that IE7 is slow. In fact, all of the IE programs are bloated, slow crap.
Use Mozilla Firefox or Opera 9. It is MUCH safer to use those browsers and they are free.
Firefox has all kinds of neat plug-ins for it too.
I recommend to everyone that they should not use most of the stock applications that came with XP. 3rd party disk defraggers, browsers, firewalls, etc. are much better.

The problem has been well known since IE7 came out for beta testing.

IE7 tries to give more functionality but really isn't a good system. Stick with good old IE6 or even switch to firefox or opera.

We had the same problem with 37 computers at work, made our overall network extremely slow, so we uninstalled it and went back to the older version. Same problem on my new computer at home, so uninstalled it there too.

I agree with Kevin. Firefox is much faster and safer than IE, and it's free and easy to use/install.

No No, you have commited any mistake at all. All you have to do is go to your nearest software store, take all the microsoft trash and then throw them on Bill Gate's face and the shoot him in the head.
Then say, "Make better softwares in hell".
