When for example they said that Britain was in much debt after the Thirty Years War or Seven Years War or whatever, first WHO did it owe money to , and what would happen if it decided not to pay "money" back? And just WHAT is "money" anyway? Why cant it just make its own money or steal it from whomever with its army? I just dont understand this.

As part of making copper plated ornaments I will have a pinhead size hole left in my item which needs to be filled with a blob of molten copper. Can soldering melt copper or is it only good using flux ??

I took her to the vet awhile back. The vet found one large tumor and some small ones. He advised that she has them removed, which is expensive and there is no guarantee that she'll live longer. I have thought about putting her to sleep, but it's a hard decision for me. I just had to put my dog to sleep about 1 1/2 years ago. I would prefer that she die at home but don't want her to suffer either. She mostly just lays around and has no energy.

a month ago I could watch watch video from yahoo or from the BBC news, now i can not, and i have no idea why. I get this message: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

my ex boyfriend is trying to claim being common law married to him because he is in debt. we have never filed taxes together because we are not married. we both filed separate, individual taxes claiming our own children, we have no kids together.
he changed his 2005 tax return to married and claimed my son - to which he has no legal guardianship - we never married and he never adopted my son - i'm pretty sure this is tax fraud, but wanted to ask the very smart yahoo people out there what they thought. thanks so much

Is a love of the animals and plants ever mentioned?

I love and respect, and try to conserve, birds, animals and plants from around the world and see the earth as ther greatest gift we could have been given- but nobody of a religious orientation ever seems to discuss anything apart from human life.

Is a love of the natural world (and the vocation to defend and preserve it) smiled upon in your religion? Can you provide empirical back-up to your claims?

I've heard plastic and metal ones are bad for your hair cos it breaks it. Also wide tooth is supposedly best as it doesn't pull the hair. Only other options are wood or rubber? Any ideas?
