Firstly you have to realise that worms are nocturnal. It is therefore recommended that you apply duct tape to the anus at night. First thing in the morning remove said tape and you will find a large amount of worms adhered to it. Repeat nightly until no more worms are found on the tape. If this does not resolve the problem and you find no worms of the tape, try putting some bacon on the anus prior to taping. In the meantime wear gloves to bed so that when you scratch your bottom you dont get faeces up your finger nails.

Don't worry! it sounds worse than it is, worms are really common it doesn't mean your unhygienic or any thing. Firstly do you actually know for sure its worms, have you seen them? if so you can either go to your GP or to a Boots and get something over the counter for about £6! Other wise, why are you red raw? is it because you are itching? if so and you haven't actually seen a worm definitely go to your GP as it might be an infection. Good luck.

Why do you think this? If you have seen some wiggly things in your stool, or little bits of white segments, then probably, yes. However, if you have experienced only itching of the anus, then you may have inflamed piles. See a pharmacist today who will sort you out, and make sure not to scratch and to use a separate towel from everyone else as worms are really infectious.

there are many different types of worm that you could be infected with from ringworm that affects the skin right through to tape worm thats takes over your intestines, there is also another worm that will swim up your pish stream and enter your body through the genetalia this is not so common but you really want to pray that its not the sumatran tiger worm as if thats managed to get a hold into your body then you will only have weeks to live as the only way that can be extrated from your body is by removing all your organs..... sorry, but get to the docs or the hospital asap

What makes you think you have worms? Have you seen them in your stools? The best bet is to see your Doctor and tell him / her your concerns. Your Doctor can do a stool test to make sure and then give meds to take care of that. Meanwhile, make sure you always wash your hands before and after leaving the restroom to help prevent this.

ok. you can either get a tablet in single form over the counter at the chemist or go docs for more effective treament. but dont forget the whole family has to be treated as worms are so easily passed. i know its hard but try not to scratch the more you scratch you are hatching more eggs

Don't go to a doctor. You'd be better off asking anonymous armchair doctors that hang out on yahoo.

Or better yet, just take a good multi-vitamin. This is the same advise I gave to Kristie Ally.

I don't think you need to go to the doctors. I had worms a few years ago and went to the chemist. Nothing to worry about

You can get tablets from the pharmacy, and you must eat a bit of grated raw carrot every morning to keep them away. Everyone has them but if they take over it is awful!
Good luck
