it's in her blood not to hibernate cause she's from africa...also your house temp. might stay close to the same all year 'round

Most turtles and tortoises hibernate or at least go dormant for a few months and eat much less then in the warmer months. Because your tort is native tio a very warm land it probably just doesn't hibernate.

all these animals have be well fed in the summer months as they go into hibernate in the winter months

get a large box with hay or straw in but vent holes in around the box then place the box with the tortoise in side a warm cu bard and it must be dark.

Sulcatas are big tortoises with specialized needs. One of their needs is that they DO NOT hibernate. In their native lands, they never needed to and never learned to.

This is a good example of a species that you absolutely NEED to research before you buy because of their specialized care needs.

Your turtle is from Africa and it does not hibernate because of it's natual in stints.
