wifi access problems?

when i try to connect to the net from a public access point it tells me it has connected but i cant access the web, any ideas appreciated

it could be because you need a network key - check with the person providing the wifi access, it will say you're connected and not let you do anything if you haven't got it.

there are some that don't need a network key so you could trying moving a bit and connecting to one of them!
