Christianity is not a single religion, but a lot of different religions are called "Christian." There are major differences between Roman Catholics, Baptists, "Church of Christ", Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Pentecostals, and others. Some take the Bible just like it is written; others believe it means something different. They may say they don't believe that, but they really do. Start reading the New Testament to find out what Christianity really is.

If you engage in a physical relationship with a guy that you call a bf, then I assure you he is not christian even if he tells you he is, but if you are not then good for you and him.
Read this:" For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1Jo 2:16
There are myriad verses about sexual immorality in the bible. I never try to recite all of them, but this one illustrates whether your relationship is right or wrong.
If you would like to know about christianity, you have to accept Jesus as your personal savior first and then go to church, not to go to church then accept him as your personal savior. It was one of the great mistakes I have ever done in my entire life. You also can login to ministries online.
One of the best is www.intouch.org, it teaches you daily lessons not just daily devotionals and they have audio archive covering 365 days and you can listen to any subject you want even in previous years in the archive.

Ask your boyfriend. Go to church with him. Read the Bible. Start with John 3:16 AND 3:17.

Beliefnet.com and Wikipedia would be the first place I would go to learn anything. Then go to his Church's website, if they have one.

Honestly, just ask him. You asked a loaded question that would take a very long time to explain. Kind of like explaining the science behind Evolution.
