So i am currently working as a part time nanny form 3-6 pm
I love the family and their son to death, they are awesome people but i got a full time job offer from another family full time working 55 hours a week. How can i brake the news to them without hurting them, i know they said a million time that they don't ever want to loose me as a their babysitter, so now i kinda feel so bad and guilty.

I mean, I am student of social justice. I was taught peace is not simply the absence of justice. How can people like Ramsey Clark (who is easily a traitor to his country AND to humanity in my HO) defend a regime like Saddam Hussein but criticize Bush for trying to bring a real, lasting peace and not just enforcing the status quo?

If you have a rabbit, hamster, guinea pig, or other similar small animal, please help me out. Did you get your pet from a pet store, animal shelter/rescue, friend/relative, breeder, or somewhere else? If you did not adopt from a shelter or rescue, why not?

I'm not trying to induce guilt, I'm just trying to find out why so few people adopt these animals from shelters and rescues.

I pulled my scarf up over my nose and mouth today before I went outside to walk the dogs in the cold Chicago winter. Immediately after taking a breath, the smell of the knit scarf evoked powerful, pleasant childhood memories of playing in the snow after the blizzard of 1979. It even made me want hot chocolate.
