Yoga is a series of strengething stretches with deep breathing incorporated. I find it very relaxing. I would try a few classes and see if you feel more relaxed after.

I've done yoga a few times, but not regularly. Whenever I've done it, I have found it very relaxing. So, I'd say "yes", it is really good for relieving tension.

A year in a school of hatha yoga was very beneficial to me. And my wife, practicinug yoga techniques, was able to give birth painlessly with no medication and no episiotomy. So yes, yoga can work well.

I've done it a few times and honestly I didn't think it was all what it was cracked up to be. I felt no different, they just tried to put me in positions that my body would not allow, the only people in the class that could do it was the stick thin people.
